It will deliver 40A and remember it once changed in settings if you upgrade the firmware to 3030. Upgraded ours via Wi-Fi at home - it has the original NEMA 6-50 wall plug.

Weird. I could’ve sworn there was a big issue with the chargers overheating with the solution being a throttle down of the amperage. Guess I never got the memo.

c’est la vie…I pick up my Macan Turbo on Friday, so plain Jane chargers it is!

Remember that you'll have to disconnect the tails - screwed in - so not quite undock and go!

No different to Taycan or any VW EV / hybrid - same stock EVSE.

The tails - yes on prior models as they were shipped with a choice of tails. No EVSE supplied as standard in UK from MY25 onwards. Suspect the same today. Go check.
