UK test drives yet?

Hi All,

Time seems to be quick, I think there was mention of the first UK models arriving for test drive and viewing around about now?
Anyone had any updates in the UK?

Sheffield has an Aventurine Green 4 on display - test drives after the launch event next week (13th?).

I got shown all over demonstrator turbo on Tuesday and booked test drive for next Wednesday on Macan 4. Which was due today. They said test drives were starting yesterday.
Porsche Colchester.
They also had several customer cars in showroom so saw several examples.
Aventurine Green with off road pack and off road wheels looked stunning.
Was also offered a cancelled order for immediate delivery but didn’t match my spec closely enough.

Test drove a Macan 4 on Wednesday at Porsche Silverstone.

I was handed the keys and given a 1hr opportunity to test drive on my own.

Key take away point, it drives more like a "car" then any other EV I have driven before.

The Heads Up Display is amazing and wife definitely wants to add that to the option list.

Demonstrator was on 22" wheels. Noticed quite a bit of road noise and hoping the smaller wheels might address this issue.

Drove on some B roads and I was impressed with the driving dynamics, probably helped by the Air suspension.

The android based Nav System is really responsive and leaps ahead of any other systems out there IMO.

Unfortunately this demonstrator did not have the Sports Chrono Package, so no option to try Sports Plus or Launch Control.

Anyone interested in the 4S, they potentially have some allocations for delivery by year end. On the 4, its 2nd quarter of 2025 at the earliest.

I'm definitely sold. Just need to finalise the config!!

Unfortunately this demonstrator did not have the Sports Chrono Package, so no option to try Sports Plus or Launch Control.

Just put the car in Sport mode (no need for Plus) and you get launch control.

Had a test drive at Porsche Newcastle this morning. Test drove Macan 4, was so good to drive. They have Macan Turbo in black on forecourt , Macan 4 in genetian blue on forecourt and Macan 4 is white in showroom.
Eagerly awaiting Macan 4S delivery.

Exeter Porsche have several and we test drove a Macan 4 there on Monday 28th October. Seems they had several variants available. Let us loose for a couple hours and it was fantastic

Was contacted by Porsche GB and got an invite to drive the Macan at the Silverstone Experience Centre and have breakfast/lunch there too.

Surprised as I haven’t ordered one (and I may even wait for the Cayenne EV), no idea how I was chosen. They had a few time slots on 25-27 Nov, so they must have emailed a few people to offer this (fantastic) opportunity at no cost to us.

Wife is coming along but no interest in driving one so that’s a waste of a guest slot

I will try and cajole her on the day though, she will be nervous I expect.

Anybody test driven the base Macan?

I'm not sure if the first base Macan or 4S have been available yet.
I know they are/were imminent from mid-November.

My local has a base in PTS riviera blue.

I really didn't want to like it, but it was hard not to.

The 18 way seats are so comfortable and the cabin felt just as good as a Taycan IMHO.

My Porsche itch is strong. My C63 is superb and I've not had it long, but this might be my most realistic chance to spec and have my own Porsche because of salary sacrifice.
