So, in my quest to find the hardest car to photograph, I recently picked up my Macan Turbo in Provence. I had thought that Frozen Blue Metallic was difficult to get true, but holy shit. This color kind of sucks all the color away from it's surroundings.

Anyway...yada yada...the car is great. The interior is familiar, yet light years more practical than my Taycan was...and, the power delivery is intense!

Just waiting to powder coat the Taycan's summer wheels and fit proper tires. Get some sort of lowering stuff on it, and it should sit pretty aggressively :)

I was pretty sad to see this go...but, quickly forgot about it after a week in the Macan. Hopefully somebody will enjoy it at the low low depreciated cost :)

I’ve standard factory brake set up on my wife’s Macan 4 and even after three (2020, 2022, and 2024 Taycan 4S/Turbo & ST) the Macan 4 brakes are far and away the best I’ve experienced on a Porsche EV #justsayin

How does Macan Turbo feels after Taycan? I have Taycan 4S and I didn’t really enjoy Macan 4 when I test drove it. Can turbo somehow provide a near to similar cornering performance?

Only two ordinary Taycan 4 S before my Macan (means both standard brakes) and i can fully agree. The "transition" between recuparate and "real brake" is much better.

IMHO(!) the only thing i would add on the pro Taycan side: Cornering (especially narrow) really is "more on the suv side". Of course not comparable with our ix5 (minimum two levels above) but both my taycan 4s and 4S ST had some noticeable advantage here.

Looks like an ideal setup is one 911 and one Macan then :)))

Lol- in some cases for sure...
If you are completely out of ICE (like i am)- maybe not. I always think "What is wrong? Why warming up the engine? why those interruptions while gears are changing and so on...
I was glad to give back the last replacement 911 S after the update on my taycan was done.
Maybe waiting for the Boxster BEV would be my solution? But the loss in cornering quality is not that dramatic...
Everything IMHO, no offence @911 or ICE or ... ;) !
