Has been exactly one week since I took delivery of my turbo. Had to drive my model s Tesla to have it returned at the end of its lease. WOW what a difference. Even though both have same power and acceleration. To summarize the difference the Tesla is boring very unengaging extremely numb no road feed back steering horrible terrible interior quality of material and build. One pedal driving is so annoying.

Can’t believe how I at one point in my life was so impressed by Tesla and was a huge fan of it and even worse I was debating whether to order my turbo or not worried about missing the Teslas technology and FSD!!!!

Let the Porsche dream come true continue!!!!

Same here (even the comparison is made between Macan 4 and Tesla M3LR).
The thing I recognize to Tesla is to have opened my mind to EV cars with an the say (maybe too easy) vehicle that has some negative aspects on the driving and pleasure side.

I agree 100%. The model s Tesla experience changed my car/driving prospective for ever!!! By introducing me to the EV and assisted driving. Till I drove the Macan the model s was the fastest most advanced fun car I even drove. Need to give it the credit it deserves.

Hmm my Model X was my introduction to EV, hated that car, yes it was fast as a rocket, but all the rest was so/so, after 9 month’s I could not stand it anymore and went back to a German premium car, an iX, love that car … still have it after 2+ years … my wife is waiting to drive it when the Macan arrives … I guess that will be my primary driver … though the iX will become the car that collects all the majority of the km’s … gonna try to keep the km’s low on the Porsche … nah who am I kidding …

Hmm my Model X was my introduction to EV, hated that car, yes it was fast as a rocket, but all the rest was so/so, after 9 month’s I could not stand it anymore and went back to a German premium car, an iX, love that car … still have it after 2+ years … my wife is waiting to drive it when the Macan arrives … I guess that will be my primary driver … though the iX will become the car that collects all the majority of the km’s … gonna try to keep the km’s low on the Porsche … nah who am I kidding …

Yeah I blacked out the beaver like grill, it looks OK now … 130 euro’s well spent 😂

Hmmm, I had it for a day trial. It made me motion sick, it floated on the road like a boat. I hated the experience, which I shared with my friendly bmw service advisor, and he totally agreed with me (note: not the sales guy I’m referring to)

I found the motion sickness was due to the adaptive braking. Once I turned that off it was fine. But I am looking forward to switching to the Macan EV next year. The test drive was so much better than my iX.

@fsabek : No offence but our ix is remarkable behind our Macan. Of course more space but handling wins the Macan clearly.

I will have the same setup but all in black … Is the iX a 60?
Now the handling, I can’t imagine that in norrmal day to day driving there will be much difference. I can imagine that on a twisty mountain road there will be … Macan is lighter smaller and more sporty build. I have a 50 on 22 inch which is more comfortable than the 60 and I never put it into to sport as that is to agile for day to day driving. I took the Macan on standard 20’s to start with …

Coming from a Tesla S, yesterday during my first ever macan test drive, the difference was abysmal!
Yes, in regards to my Tesla MXP, my iX with rear wheel steering feels like a F1 … so I’m curious how it will compare to the Macan Turbo.

Versions with RAS:
12,8m (iX) vs 11,1m(Macan EV)

Different league in town, you will feel the difference!
On the road, RAS is RAS, so I don’t think you will notice something strongly different.

I think the whole steering makes a huge difference. Out ix has a Strange behaviour reducing power while cornering. Imho the ix is really different to Drive. A Little Bit more like a s class, compared the Macan feels more like a hot hatch. Everything imho….
both nice cars, dont get me wrong. We although have a 12/ 23 Cayenne S.

Are you sure the 12.8 meter is without ras, this is the default turning circle for a iX40 which doesn’t have RAS …
