For those who've purchased the All Weather Floor Mats for your Macan EV, do they look like they will provide enough coverage/protection for snow and slush (in particular for the driver's side left foot rest area)? I normally go with Weathertech floor liners but they're not yet available for the EV version of the Macan.

I bought the All Weather Mats and live in a cold climate with snow and salt. I think they work well, but I've never been a fan of Weathertech because they seem like overkill.

Weathertech have much higher sides that keep the slush etc out. Porsche is much more flat which leaks.

As you know weathertech for the ev still shows "coming soon" so just have to bite the bullet.

Agreed, WeatherTech liners can look excessively large but they do work. I'll be picking my car up in about a week so I'll likely get the Porsche mats then consider just the driver's side for WeatherTech when they become available.

As @Doggo and @cdelgado wrote the All Weather mats are flat but when I tried them with snow (and many times before with rain) they do the job without any specific problem. I use all weather mats for my car since 2008 and always got the original one brand new when I sold the cars ;-)

I have been using 3D MAXpider Kagu for the last serveral cars and I have found them to be the best I have ever purchased in 50 years of buying mats. They are custom fit, high sides but not the rubber like weatherTech. Honestly I strongly dislike them. These MAXpider are made of something that makes them so easy to wash but they do not look like cheap rubber mats. These fit even better than the WeatherTech imo. That said they are not available for the Macan EV's yet but will be eventually. I am waiting for them. I use them in my wife's Audi and I had them in a Tesla X and we love them fwiw.

Thanks! I had never heard of this company but, based on their website images, the mats look really nice. Will look into this once they're available for the Macan EV.

I think they are worth a look. I have never had anyone see these mats in one of my cars that did not think they were the best mats, especially for the weather we have in Michigan. I suspect I might get frustrated waiting since the Macan EV is a pretty small market and they may drag their feet before getting them on their inventory. I am encouraged because they do see them for the Ice Macan. Here is a comment I found on the Ice forum. You might find more info there. Here is what his person said. I have a set of 3D Maxpider for my Range Rover and a set of WeatherTech for my BMW. I've just placed an order for a 2022 Macan S and will definately be ordering the 3D Maxpider's. They are light weight, hightech looking, and extremely durable. I've used them for 8 winters in Canada's cold, snowy, wet winters and they are extremely durable and I love them. The WeatherTech's are "OK" but more traditional, bulky, heavy rubber and not the sleek look of the 3Ds. IMHO

The rubber floor mats I got from Porsche have been off-gassing in my basement for more than a month. They have a very strong smell that I can’t get stand if they were in the car. I really hope they finish off-gassing soon as I want to put them in this month.

I also have the luggage compartment liner and it has no smell at all, but does seem to be a slightly different material and less flexible.

Does anyone else with the Porsche rubber mats have the same off-gassing issue as me?

No problem or smell with the Porsche rubber mats I got and I have them since day 1 (September 27th). I'm one of the few that love the new car smell and I would have noticed it.... Oh how much I would like to have that "new car" smell again... 😂😂😂😂 but after 6800 km it's vanished....

@Diego my friend, I have the solution for you: 1 month leases.

Every first day of the month, you get a brand new car. Your wallet will hate it but your nose will be in heaven!

Weathertech is the best, in my opinion. This is my fifth Macan, and I am waiting for the product to be released so I can use them on my Macan EV Turbo. They are durable, and the high sides provide more protection against liquids going to the carpet, which is my highest concern.

I got the Porsche’s all weather. Installed then and left the car in the garage for few days. The cabin stinked like hell… got dizzy from all the fumes and decided to use the stock ones instead. I wonder if anyone else experienced a similar thing.

Do the Porsche all weather mats come wrapped? Would it help if I asked my SA to unwrap them for a week?

Mine did come wrapped and I they are smelling less strong after six weeks. I think they might be ready to put in after two months of off-gassing in the basement.
