Generally, for the past 10 yrs of driving, i've had aftermarket decks in my cars, in which i always play the music videos.
Well, i didn't expect that to be the case with OE systems of any Mfr...but i was happy with being able ot play videos period, and the car blacking out the screen while in motion was fine.
Well yesterday, while i was driving, I just happen to notice that the video was still showing while in motion for the first time! I wasn't sure how it happened, and if it would be repeatable... but i figured it out.
If you're playing a video, when you start moving the screen will black out.
To get the video back, at the top left of the screen, there a track list button. Music note with lines. Click on that.....select the file you're already playing or select any other you'd like...
It will display the video already playing again, or whatever other video you selected.
The warning text will still be on the screen, and the video controls will also still be on the screen. a minor inconvenience. You can use the controls and skip/back as normal. It will continue to show the video.
If you come to stop, the warnings will go away of course, but when you start moving again, it wil black out the screen and you must select the track again to get it visible. Luckily, it will continue playing and not restart the track when you select it.
