2025 4S cross bars

Having a tough time getting cross bars for my 2025 4S. I need to be able to put a luggage box up top for certain road trips. The dealer ordered a set for me when I bought the car- came back to get them installed, they couldn’t install them saying no instructions were provided etc. So they ordered a different set and now I’m waiting to go back - they still say they don’t have instructions. Has anyone else successfully had cross bars installed on their 2025?

I did. it was not easy..... But when you get it, then it is.
The covers act like a wings and you use those to tighten the bars to roof.Challenge is to get the red piece to right position, so that the cover slides to its "wing" position. You must get the slot on the side of the red piece continuous, you need to ensure wing runs seamlessly along the entire length. And no help from usermanual...

There is an "instruction" video and text inside the digital version of the manual for the car. The section in the manual is called "Installing roof transport system." It is kinda mediocre as it does not show some detail that is important and there is no text, just irritating music in the video, but there is text in the manual. You end up using the outer cover as a tool to open the clamps. You can see there is a small red tab visible below the cover when it is in this position, which is the "open" position. My first attempt on one side ended up breaking that tab since the video made it look to me like it went on top and I misunderstood part of the text in manual. I still managed to get it to work and seem to have gotten the small placement tabs in the small holes on the rails, but the positioning is not easy to accomplish. It does appear that all four are positioned and clamp well. Nothing moves when I pull on it as hard as I can. Unlike some after market racks, this exactly fits without adjustment, although it appears there is some adjustment for which there is no documentation. I also was concerned each time how much I had to torque the covers to get the clamp closed. It was a pretty firm load to get it to close. I purchased mine from Suncoast Parts.

I did not make any adjustments- each of them were clearly positioned the same. When you place the covers in the grooves on red lever mechanism the clamp mechanism opens. If you get the small pin positioned in the rail it closed fully when you tilt the cover back down. Then when I locked the cover in place it closed firmly. I could see if you started adjusting the components of the lever you may change the clamping. But the directions are inadequate

Jep, they work quite well in the end, but the thing is to get the cover to right position. You have to shake and twist the clamp to make room to the red piece to reach the right position....

I would recommend Thule and generally they OEM Porsche transport systems.

It is either the T30 or T40 size.

You do not need any tools with Porsche macan EV 25 racks. The covers are the tightening tool.

Yeah, that’s how mine was, but I still needed to make some adjustments to the bolts to allow my to properly clamp them. Some were too loose, others were too tight and I didn’t want to break the plastic covers.

I have this Thule set and it works fine and is easy to install. I already had the cross bar so it was just a matter of ordering new feet for the Macan. I also have the Thule 3 bike tow hitch cycle carrier and it's easy to install and seems very solid.
