Just had a call from my dealership and they think they have the issue! They have spent 3 days with tech experts from Germany. Apparently there is a process to follow but they are hoping to have it fixed by the end of the week!

This is very encouraging news.
If your dealership manages to fix the problem, please let us know. I may take my care there too.

Hi, has anyone have any information on successful software updates for this issue yet. My car is booked in for early next year for a service, but would try to push for an earlier booking if a software fix has been released.

I have my car booked in for review in 2 weeks time. I hope they have a software fix by then.

Hi everyone…
This is the last update i have from my dealership 🇬🇧
“We’ve now reached the stage where Porsche Technical has recommended that we perform a new sequence of procedures and complete a road test. This next phase is scheduled for tomorrow when an additional technician will be available to monitor the PCM and warning indicators during the drive. I apologise for the time this is taking, but please rest assured that our technical team is fully engaged and working hard to resolve.”
- Fingers crossed it will be resolved soon !

Macan 4, with Innodrive.
Since day 1, i have regular intermittent fault messages on the instrument cluster
It comes and goes very randomly but unfortunately every day !
-> Assistance systems error / Speed limit display. Function not available, service necessary (See photos attached)
The front camera, windscreen are all cleaned, with no obstruction.
The car is booked in two weeks with Porsche West London….
Watch the space !
Any similar issues ?
Walt.

Hi,

I am having the same issue as well from Day1. While the speed limit display fault is no big deal, it disables my cruise control as well. It resets when car is restarted. Sometimes I get lucky, the fault doesn't come on but mostly the fault comes back on. My local Porsche SA says Porsche is aware and they are awaiting a software update. Don't know when that would happen!

My car has been with the dealership for now 4 weeks ! 🤬
Last Update i have so far :
“we have provided Porsche UK with all the data we have gathered, along with detailed pictures, to ensure nothing is overlooked. Porsche UK’s technical team is collaborating closely with Porsche AG’s R&D department, as they are actively investigating several instances of the white assistance system warnings appearing on instrument clusters. Your case is a priority in these discussions, and we’re working to address this as quickly as possible”

Is there anyone out there with a fully working Innodrive on their Macan EV?

My Macan 4 is now with Porsche Centre Chester. I’ll let people know if there is any good news.

To add to my last post I have identified some additional concerns.

· Proactive Occupant Protection rarely shown active usually ‘greyed’ out and function not available. Only seen it active on one occasion in about 10 checks

· 3D Assisted Driving view showing ‘ghost’ vehicles when car stationary at home. On two occasions the system has had ’vehicles‘ appearing on the left or in front and then disappearing.

· Plug & Charge cannot be activated.

· Braking intervention initiated by vehicle without a hazard on two occasions.

Taking Tesla as a reference I have to say that I'm quite happy about how the Innodrive works.
On some aspect it works better than Tesla (for example when it has to accelerate for an overtake or at low speed in the traffic is smoother than Tesla). Had some error but they were related (I think) to too much light (with some directly into the front camera) but it never disengaged. For the moment no ghost brakes (while with Tesla I have 60% of time when I overtake a truck). In road construction sites it reads correctly the yellow and not the white lines on the lane.
What I don't like in the graphic representation is that the bikes are indicated always in the middle of the lane even if they are on the left or right.
Lane keeping assistant is a little too invasive but I think it's related to non perfect horizontal road signs we have here.

Those are stealth vehicles, like stealth fighters. Sometimes they are detected, sometimes not. Thats what we used to tell the students when aircraft unexpectedly showed up in the simulator. :)
