The cost of home charging in the UK, where this test was conducted, can be as low as £.075 per kW/h (over night rate) and fast chargers are about 10 time more expensive £0.74 per kW/h (Tesla superchargers are less). I have run an EV for the last 3 years and about 90% of my charging has been at home. Therefore, it's only when travelling unusually long distances that costs here get even remotely close to the figures given in this video.
The cost of energy is only 0.075 £/Kw? = 0.091 euro/Kw? In Italy we pay 0.30 euro/Kw and then we wonder why there are so few electric cars here...

0.075 is about right for off peak home charging here in UK. Most energy firms have a cheap EV rate often from about midnight to 4/5 am. With higher day rates of around 0.40/0.45. Your rate is closer to our day rate if we don’t have an overnight EV tariff. Are there no companies offering cheap EV overnight rates in Italy?

yeah as Salmonfisher said, you may wanna look a lil deeper into the rates. it was actually kinda hard to find on my Provider's website... but the peak vs offpeak pricing is literally night and day.
and the bill doesn'tfor whatever reason doesn't itemize peak vs offpeak
