Exactly - I am - and Porsche Assistance not helping despite 8 calls in last 24hrs, plus calls to 2 Porsche main dealers. It is unbelievable.
That's totally in line with my experience of Porsche assistance with my EV: nobody cares.

If it makes you feel better, both of my manual charge port actuators had to be replaced on my 2024, within a few weeks of each other. The main issue is the mechanism that locks one door when the other is opened (as mentioned by someone else in the thread). In both of my door failures, the car thought one of the doors was opened (which it wasn't, it was stuck closed because the actuator failed) so it blocked the other from opening. I suspect this is to avoid someone plugging in 2 charging cables at the same time thinking they could charge twice as fast (I can already see the Youtube influencers doing this for clicks), but I could write the software for them to block this at the firmware level instead of coming up with a convoluted mechanical mess.

It is unfortunate about your service issues. The one thing that I cannot complain about is the support from my dealer here in Montreal. It's my first Porsche, and the dealer service has been beyond expectations despite how much I paid this car. Hope they improve on your end!

I'm enjoying my 2024 MacanS. First Porsche and first EV. A great driving experience, but not the reliability I had hoped for.
Last month the LHS charge flap refused to open by hand pressure. The RHS remains good although sometimes you have to press firmly to register. A new control unit is on order, and will be fitted in August (3 mths for part and courtesy car). The control unit apparently mediates between the two charging flaps. My dealer stated that this is the first failure seen on a Macan EV hence the delay in getting a replacement unit, although Tycan charging flap failures have seen historically! From this thread it might be that my Macan might not actually be the first failure reported!!!
Luckily I can open either ports from the dash charging screen, so it has not had a real impact on charging, just simply an inconvenience.
The power sockets in the boot (trunk) have also stopped working. This will be investigated when the ports are sorted. Hopefully a simple & quick repair.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Porsche Assist sent the AA out to fix mine.

Temporary solution achieved!

Breakdown guy arrived with two extra-large plastic trim removal levers and levered the cover off exposing the charge socket beneath.
I can now charge it and drive to Porsche dealer to sort the permanent fix.
The cover is held by three fairly standard bodywork clips onto the opening mechanism beneath and can simply be pressed back into place.
Four days to get this far.
I will be keeping two of these levers in the car for the next time.

My SA also discouraged me from getting it after seeing all the issues on Taycan, I took it anyway, and while the charger door can still open from inside the car, the (already confusing) gesture on the door itself doesn't work anymore 🙃

The gesture not working...is this for both doors? Interested what your SA thinks is the problem, assuming you've already brought the car in for warranty service.
