Hello Fellow Macan EV Owners -

I've been looking to add a Macan EV to my fleet in the past year but i am looking for a good deal like i found on my Taycans,
Recently it looks like many dealers around here in California (122 is the current total in the US) have a pretty substantial inventory of CPO Mancans with 500-3000 miles on them, i can only guess that these are some kind of a return or a buy back that Porsche did, has anyone here purchsed one of these CPOs and can recommend his car is problem free?
Has anyone returned his newly bought/leased Macan and found his car listed at the dealer as CPO and cares to share some details?

They can also be vehicles used by Porsche corporate execs/staff — as I confirmed mine was. Mine was able to be licensed as a new vehicle (getting the $7,500 lease credit as a result) and putting the two warranties together, my total warranty now goes until August 5th, 2030. After some initially needed software upgrades, it is now such a FUN vehicle.

i don't think they had so many exec loaners, the Porsche finder tool usually discolses that in the listing but form the sampling i did none showed that -
Did you get a good deal on it comparing to a brand new?

A deal that initially seemed to be too good to be true but was (my first thought it was either an advertising price typo), e.g., over $24,000 less than MSRP and in outstanding condition as advertised.

Porschefinder.com was my friend. Found several others more than $15K below MSRP. This was however before the late spring tariff freak out so not sure what “deals” are out there now.

Just for kicks seconds ago I jumped back to Porschefinder and found the first two turbo models were $14K and $12K less than MSRP with both less than 700 miles on them, i.e., so deals are still out there IF one is will to look and to buy other than locally. Best EV deals overall are in the southeast of the country where EV interest is low or non existent.

I'm seeing the same thing. My dealership loaner fleet is nearly all Macan EV's now (12 units) that were buybacks or demo" or other.

Kinda interesting as I've never seen this with any other new models.

There are simply hundreds of low mile Macan EV's out there in inventories.

It's pretty odd and i've been lurking on this forum to see if there are any major issues like the Taycan had in the beginning (and still having with the first gen) but i can't point to something specific, could it be that the huge Gas Macan customer base jumped on the EV and found out it's not what they expected and just returned the car?

That's not major fire sale like many of the Taycans i leased over the years, for example last December i got a 174k MSRP 2024 Taycan ST GTS marked down almost 50k and i leased it as new with delivery miles for a year for a very low monthly price and almost no down payment.
Is someone able to get a below $1000 lease on one of these CPO Macan EV Turbos?

I think this is how they introduced pl to the car. When ppl bring their ice cars in for issues or service, what easier way to get them into the new ev than to let them drive it commitment free.
And they have less service to do on the cars that ppl are beating up on... It's smart

Exactly; it is part of marketing the new EV’s to the traditional ICE owners.

FWIW, I had been looking at a PTS order on the Porsche Configurator, and the configurator then told me "did you know this dealer actually has one like this in stock?"

A plane trip later and a way of driving from SoCal to NorCal later, I got a PTS Turbo at 4% off, and whoever had ordered it before and then canceled, doesn't. I hadn't found a California dealer that would discount off MSRP, especially on a PTS order, so that was fortuitous! (But now I got the car earlier than I had expected ... oh, well ;-D )

I did a lease to get the 7500 discount, but the money factor is junk (0.0042!) so I'll pay it off as soon as title/plates come in.

4% is pretty standard out here. Especially with slow inventory.

I hate to act like that financial advisor guy, but purchasing a luxury EV is not a great decision. Tech is changing, battery tech is changing, EV's are disposables. And after seeing these Taycan Turbos worthless after 1 year, there's no reason to think $120k Macan Turbos will be worth more that $45k in 24 months The build quality of the Macan isn't even up to par with the Taycan or Audi GT ( I just watched my dealer send an Audi Gt to auction for $28k. Couldn't move it).

Clearly you're not buying it as an investment, but as a keeper. But 3 year old EV of any kind won't hold interest in the garage like ICE cars used to.
