degradation: none. there is a test of a 337.000 km taycan on youtube

and of course there is the warranty.

consumption: the porsche motto is: drive fast, charge fast.
trust the charging planer and you will reach your destination as fast as possible. switch on battery preservation in your set up. charge 7% to max. 80% at home. charging at a trip the planner will plan for you.

my consumption: i drive my turbo the same way as my. ice turbo before. 10% - 80% is 270-300km in normal weather and 10% — 15% less in cold weather. charging from 10% to 80% is 20 minutes.

Valid concern. Degradation is normal. This is directly from Porsche.

everything degrades. except the electric motors  …. an ice motor loses more than 30% of its power and torque after 100.000 miles. if it makes it there at all

Well you cannot say none - there is some initial degradation in the first year or two up to ~10% and then it should hold really well for a long time.

There is an interesting thread on Taycan forum:
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/🔋-baseline-for-hv-battery-soh-performance-battery-degradation-data-by-taycan-owners.12815/

There are many takeaways like 1) DC fast charging does not have an impact people are worried about 2) there is a buffer that minimizes range drop, Porsche adds some extra capacity so that net amount you get does not drop too much.

That being said realistically you can expect ~10% drop which is not nothing but it also depends on your use case. You won't notice it in city driving, you will notice it during fast highway trips in winter.

I think manufacturers should be forced by law to give you an easy option to check the SoH. The procedure Porsche does at their shop could easily be incorporated into PCM - you turn it on, it discharges the battery, tells you the charge it to 100%, hold overnight and here you go, 95% SoH. Something like "clean the brakes" option on Taycans. Could easily be done.

I think I read somewhere that the new MY2026 shows the SoH. I thought it's even required by European Regulation going forward (but could be wrong)

Hi no worry Tesla – use CATL, one of them for cars produced in China. I have drive 110 000 km nothing you can feel.

I've had my Macan 4 EV a little over a year now (I ordered as soon as they started taking orders). The battery appears to be very robust. We just had a recall performed and I noticed something weird, so the GM had the battery tested. Totally on par.

Only thing they recommend is don't charge over 80% on a high speed charger and stay idle long (they tell me it's OK on trips to charge to 100%, then drive ASAP; it's also OK to charge to 100% at home on a non-high speed charger).

On that last point, they charged me up to 100% when I picked up the car after the batter test; it was a 75 degree day, and I had a projected 415 miles of range (which turned out to 347+ when it was time to charge again - not bad at all).

I'm VERY HAPPY with this car. And love it.

Many thanks Petzi ! But I do not understand German jaja 🤪
I want to keep the battery at 100% as much as I can . What do you suggest ? To charge the macan EV slowly not over 80% and something like this ?
regards from malaga Spain !

Thanks . Yes I Had already read it . My questions was based on the real degradation of your battery’s as current drivers .
and the real autonomy or range of the basic Macan Ev
Regards

I am impressed about how macan drivers helps me in this platform.
Unfortunately my English is not enough to express how I feel .
The seller may cover almost my questions but I think that she has not too much knowledge on EV .
in anyway, I feel very happy knowing that the battery does suffer practically nothing .
my future dark beast Is a true dream for me .
My unit will be the basic one but for me is perfect I think.
I have redecorated a garage specially for the Macan EV.
I will care the battery as a father cares the children jaja .
Trying to be focused on my first questions is there any friend who could share with us about the range of the basic macan EV ?
Warm regards

you can translate to any language in youtube (setup + autotranslate)
you can charge to 100% ahead of a roadtrip. best practice is 10% — 80% for everyday use. not only to protect your battery. the charging speed over 80% (fast charging ) is much slower than an additional stop would be.
