I have had my Macan 4 since early October. Through October and November I have had no issues with the electric charge port doors. Since December, when it has become colder here in Canada at -11C/12F, the driver's side electric charge port door opens with out a hand touch - usually when opening or closing a person door or the rear hatch. I took the car in for service, but they were unable to replicate the issue. They asked me make notes of when it happens, what were the weather conditions, what was the qurter pannel/port door condition - clean/dirty, snowy/icy, what was the observed trigger mechanism, etc.. and return after I have complied a history of the problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any know solution(s) - besides moving south?

I recently experienced the same. We were on holiday in the Alps and most mornings were between -8 and -14 deg. C. The car was parked outside. Not every time but at least 2 mornings when I unlock the car with the key fob the driver side charging port opened. The car was completely covered in ice and I guess its somehow the ice that triggered the charging port sensor.

I have noticed this twice but only when getting out of the car. I thought I might have inadvertently touched the See You screen where you can open up the frunk/trunk and chargeports and set the alarm en systems.

I have yet to find out how to get to this screen manually, I can only get to it by hitting park, unbuckle and open door.

I've noticed the exact same thing. Happened to me about 4-5 times, mainly when it's cold outside.

Update - My service team was able to replicate the problem and determine it was a defective sensor. A new sensor was ordered and installed - no issues to date.
The part numbers for the replacement parts are:

95C-962-233-C SENSOR MODULE

95C-907-231-A STICKY PAD
