The manual covers how to disengage it so is there any chance that is what is causing the issue. EVdriver2016, as you don’t like it perhaps try this.

Readiness to drive is switched off in the following situations:

• With certain settings of the energy management system
• If the vehicle has been locked from the outside and gear P has been engaged
• By opening the driver’s door and unfastening the driver’s seat belt in gears D or R
• By pressing P button
• by other systems that, for example, automatically engage gear P or prompt you to engage gear P in the event of a fault
