I love the illuminated logo in my Turbo, day or night, a beautiful add-on

Wow! Thanks for the pictures - helps give me more perspective than the online renderings. Think I'll be adding these, however, I do prefer the "turbo" over the "Porsche".

Just rebuilt with everyone's feedback. New build link is here. Sent to SA to finalize. Will upload new dealer spec sheet and pricing when he revises in case anyone is interested.

Thanks so much again, all!

looks great!. I would add Lower Rear Fascia Trim and Airblades both in High Gloss Black to match the rest of the trim (both options are free)

Some more feedback.

Yes, Smoking Package insert is removable.

Rear Axle Steering is no longer part of the build. Are you sure about this?

Exterior Mirror has an option to have top in body color and bottom in gloss black. I think that would look better than all body color mirror or all gloss black as you chose. Just something to consider for a more balanced look, again, in my view.

Also, to current Turbo owners, could you share if you did not option the Crest on Headrests as shown below, do you have universally standard across Porsche models the headrests with Turbo emboss (second picture).

This is standard equipment on Macan ICE GTS for example has GTS emboss on front headrests as standard equipment and Cayenne Turbo has standard equipment Turbo emboss that looks more authentic for a Turbo than the Crest, in my view.

Wow, what can I say? It's very similar to my setup, so, lovely.

My config

I see you opted for the exterior color for the side blades... I have changed that detail 1000 times, right now I have it in glossy black, but I see yours again and I think I will have to change it, again :like:

Also I see you left Turbonite airblades. I have seen the effect on a built Macan, as it is the only element in that color that stands out perhaps too much. I chose to paint it in gloss black like the rest of the body elements.

Thanks for the confirmation re: smoking package. Good to know. Also interested to know if the
Cigarette lighter for the front center console 12-volt outlet insert replaces the USB-C ports entirely, one of them, or are there no charging ports inside the center console.

Yes, I have removed the RAS. After more research, my driving style, frequency and local terrain don't exactly make this a necessity for every day use. It was one of those situations where I opted to used the $2k for my desired paint color. Drove by a slate grey neo 911 this morning and saw it as a sign, and something I'd probably regret doing if I went with the jet black. I also like a heavier steer, which I have heard the RAS makes it a bit lighter / less responsive for lack of better terminology.

Interesting point on the side mirrors. I think I do like the bottom black and the mirror itself in exterior color. Hope my SA doesn't kill me for making one more change hahaha.

Wow! Very similar build indeed. Interesting to see the EU version doesn't apply the panoramic sunroof as standard equipment. Also a couple large price differences for some specs. I.e., the Ventilated Seats. Obviously euro to dollar isn't 1:1, but seemingly large price differences between certain specs.

Love your build as well, nonetheless! I also have been so conflicted on the side panels in black or exterior color. Think I'm sticking with the exterior color.... for now lol.

When are you expecting delivery? Would love to see real-life pictures when you get it!

There is a little-known effect that is achieved with RWS. It significantly softens the steering ratio, making it more linear.

Here is a graphic that explains it very well (in Spanish, sorry)

Tax issue I guess.
Although the general feeling here in Europe is that European cars are much cheaper anywhere other than Europe...:CWL:

I made the reservation but I still don't have an assignment. I hope to know more before the end of the year.

Muy interesante. Lo bueno es que entiendo español :)

I'm sure RAS is a good feature. For the $2k cost here in the US, I just opted for other specs!

What a weird concept :CWL:

One of the points in my original post, was that I was able to negotiate a 6% discount off whatever my final MSRP is. Point being, make sure you shop around different dealerships to make their offerings more competitive. I don't mind driving over to Naples from Miami with the ~$7k I'll save!

I am glad, I could help explaining the options. I would not feel bad making as many changes as you need, this is part of the Porsche experience and you can make changes until the build locks.

Don't agree about the powered charging port. I chose it on my two previous Taycans for the reason you suggest (interacting with it constantly), but it works differently on the Macan, and is neither as easy to open/close, nor is it as reliable. Before I'd had chance to discuss it with my dealer, he proactively warned me about speccing it as they'd had so many problems with them on cars they've supplied.
I'm not speccing the powered port door for this reason - prone to failure and what's the manual release mechanism?

A couple months back Porsche released a service bulletin addressing the reliability of the automatic port doors. https://www.nhtsa.gov/?nhtsaId=11008478. The sensors needed to be repositioned in order to pick up the hand gesture.

All the early review units have had this issue which is why all of the youtube reviewers had trouble with the automatic port door.

Just submitted my order for a custom build Macan Turbo. Live in Miami, FL, but after shopping around for discounts, submitted my order through the Naples, FL dealership. They were much more helpful and took 6% off MSRP on my custom spec. build.

Wondering if anyone has ordered or received delivery of a custom spec build and could share pictures. Particularly interested in seeing the green leather interior, and turbonite accents, both interior and exterior, in real life.

Here's my build link: https://porsche-code.com/PSMJNTR9
Code: PSMJNTR9

Dealer spec sheet with prices also attached.

I'm expecting delivery around March - April of 2025. Cannot wait! Thanks in advance to anyone who can share pictures of their Turbos.

Cheers!
I drive a Macan Turbo EV since 3 October 2024. Very satisfied so far. Mine is all black.

Good to know and it’s definitely something I would like to choose (cool factor only) but it’s one step too far.

I put more faith in semi-autonomous driving (which you can use/not use, as you see fit), than a sensor or stuck motor that won’t have had as much development and testing.
