Just submitted my order for a custom build Macan Turbo. Live in Miami, FL, but after shopping around for discounts, submitted my order through the Naples, FL dealership. They were much more helpful and took 6% off MSRP on my custom spec. build.

Wondering if anyone has ordered or received delivery of a custom spec build and could share pictures. Particularly interested in seeing the green leather interior, and turbonite accents, both interior and exterior, in real life.

Here's my build link: https://porsche-code.com/PSMJNTR9
Code: PSMJNTR9

Dealer spec sheet with prices also attached.

I'm expecting delivery around March - April of 2025. Cannot wait! Thanks in advance to anyone who can share pictures of their Turbos.

Cheers!

You should add the sport chrono package (under performance). Otherwise you will not get sports plus mode.
Great input. I’ll be sure to contact my SA first thing in the morning to add. Any other features you feel are a necessity that I may be missing? Contrarily, anything you think I’m including that aren’t worth the value?

"PORSCHE" Logo on Front Seats, Illuminated - It's a nice "extra" feature on the 18 way that's unique to the sporty seats. And you could make it custom for $600.

Power Charge Port Cover - If you are charging at home, you will be interacting with the port cover everyday. Having it automatically open - but more importantly - automatically close really elevates the charging experience.

Preparation for Porsche Dashcam - IMO even if you do not install the porsche cam (which you shouldn't as there are much better options on the market) having the wire harness can make aftermarket camera installs much easier. The camera cables are routed to front and back.

115-volt Power Socket in Rear Luggage Compartment - not enough juice for a hot plate but you will use it to charge a laptop

However, some prefer not to have chrono (I didn't) in the middle of the dashboard.
Many have said they rarely use sports plus mode as suspension gets stiffer and little road bumps more noticeable.
In turbo, throttle, response is already just so rapid in any drive mode, me thinks.

My family loves the passenger display … I did not add the Chrono package 🤦‍♂️ I have sport plus for the suspension, so that is the most important I guess, but still in the grand scheme of things …

For me Sport Chrono is a must have- I do not like the "interrupted cross-braces" look without SC and the response under Sport + is more present. I agree that road bumps are more noticeable so i changed the shock absorbers in S+ permanently to Sport "only".

Only my 0,02€ ;)

Agree about the seats logo. I went with the "Turbo" script with Turbonite surround.

Don't agree about the powered charging port. I chose it on my two previous Taycans for the reason you suggest (interacting with it constantly), but it works differently on the Macan, and is neither as easy to open/close, nor is it as reliable. Before I'd had chance to discuss it with my dealer, he proactively warned me about speccing it as they'd had so many problems with them on cars they've supplied.

I'm not speccing the powered port door for this reason - prone to failure and what's the manual release mechanism?

Great point about the dashcam component. Will be adding this as well. Have heard similar concerns about the power charge port, and to me, manual will be enough to justify the $500 less. I’ll consider the 115-volt. Interesting point.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

Will have to consider the illuminated badge. Do you have a picture you can share for yours? Interested to see how it looks in person because I’d spec it like you mentioned.

Added the sports chorno, 115-volt in rear storage and dashcam wiring. Considering the illuminating seat badges.

Anything else anyone recommends?

Recommend:

Your wheel choice comes with All Season tires. You are in Miami, so if your intent was to get Summer tires that have more grip but faster wear then you must option Summer tires for 21 inch separately for no cost.

Interior choice is Partial Leather in case you planned to see your doors in stitched leather, which will not be the case as they will be in vinyl as well as other areas.

18-way seats may appear better than 14-way, but I would recommend trying both before making a choice. I found 18-way too wide and flat. You can also option massage with 14-way seats.

Agree that Sports Chrono is a must on a Turbo to complete the package.

Thermal Glass - I would choose it for this reason alone: it is thicker for frameless doors, the con may be reception but I have not had any issues on any Porsches with this option.

Why not Free Smoking Package insert to store cleaning cloth.

Great feedback so far on this thread. Thank you all very much.

Didn't realize the tire options. That's a great callout I will certainly be optioning living in a warm environment year-round.

Thermal glass is something I was considering, again, with the year-round Heat and sun in Miami. Would likely have to subtract a spec to add this $930 spec, but great point nonetheless.

Thanks again for your notes. Added the free smoking package. Assuming this is a removable cup in the cupholder, right? It's not permanently occupying one of the two cup holder slots?
