macan 4 - air suspension - menu "car > drive > level" ... disappeared ?!

Hi

I've got a macan 4 for about 1 year now
I know the software part can be a bit fuzzy (key changing its user profile, etc, false alerts, etc.)
But this time it's really weird

I've the "air suspension" trim.
I use it quite often, changing manually the car level from up, normal, low, lowest, depending on the road condition & speed
I also use the memory function, so that it goes up always at the same location

And now, since 3 days,
1/ the menu disappeared from the car > drive menu (I still have "chassis", so I can switch between normal, sport & sport +)
2/ the shortcut I had on the 3 column dashboard also not showing (quite logic I think)
3/ screen behind the steering wheel : it normally shows when the car is "up" due to location memory => no display either

I'm going to the dealer for other stuff (replacing the LIDAR I suspect : no vehicule detection in front, no cruise control anymore)
I will ask software upgrade as well

l'll keep updating this post with the outcome

Several threads covered this - unplugging the 12v battery for a bit fixes the issue.

My suspension level settings started showing today after a few weeks of disappearing! I wonder if there was an OTA update that fixed it

It did for me. I guess a full reboot of the system solves this, not the update itself. But you can’t do it yourself

Disconnecting the 12v battery for a few minutes will reboot / cold start all 12v dependent systems. This was a common fix on the Taycan also.

When this happened to me several months ago, I found that going into the center display 3 column display, removing the ride height column and replacing it with something else, the going back in and re-adding the ride height column fixed the issue. Worth a try, since simple.
