Moonroof rattle

I recently got a low mileage CPO 2025 Macan EV and I am noticing that even without many road bumps the moonroof where it seals to the real glass panel seems to have a random rattle sound. It goes away with the slightest opening of the moonroof. It’s not terribly loud but has a rattle vibration randomly, especially at slower speeds. I am wondering if I should take it back to dealer or live with it…is this just the car? I am worried that they will think I’m crazy or they will mess with it and make it worse. Anyone have this or talk with dealer about it. It seems like the glass is fine and not moving. It seems to seal on closure. Thanks for any experience insight. I just want a quiet cabin experience.

Same issue, haven’t gotten to taking it to the dealer yet. I’m hoping it’s just the seals needing some gumipflege.

It's an easy fix, take it to the dealer. I had this problem and it was permanently fixed.

Same as yours - roof rattles when closed, no roof rattles when open.
Don't know what the fix was.

Glad to hear this is a fixable issue. My wife had an Audi S5 with a sunroof rattle and they couldn't do anything to fix it. Common issue on the forums with some having had their sunroof completely replaced only to have the noise return.

I just had this exact issue fixed last week, along with a software update and some other things. They went through quite a process to identify and repair the rattle - but they seem to have been successful so far. No more rattles.
