I'm on the list for December 4th for an update on my Macan Turbo. In addition to the software, they include a clip on the rear center passenger seatbelt, a replacement of the rear trunk cover, and a wiring harness on the rear axle that inadvertently raises and lowers the car.
I hope they fix the unsolicited/unnecessary battery preconditioning issues. Otherwise, I'm OK.

what are "unsolicited/unnecessary battery preconditioning issues."?

When I enter a destination that includes charging stops, the system preheats the battery to bring it to the optimal temperature upon arrival at the charging station...this happens even when the battery is already in the optimal range and is consuming range unnecessarily...and it consumes a lot of it. The problem is already known to Porsche for some models and with this software update they should have solved it.

i dont think so. preconditioning is always cooling. no preheating. would make no sense

Esempio pratico: temperatura esterna 10 gradi Celsius, temperatura batteria 10 gradi, percorso impostato che include la ricarica per Ionity,... L'auto riscalda la batteria per portarla nella fascia ottimale all'arrivo alla stazione di ricarica, altrimenti dimenticheresti di caricare a 250 kWh,.... È così che funziona; Lo stesso vale se fa troppo caldo...

Ho anche scoperto che le auto con la visuale surround 3D già presente riceveranno, con l'aggiornamento software, le funzioni avanzate di Transparent Bonnet, Trained Parking, Backwarding Assist.
I'd add that, immediately after the update, the MYporsche app should display the icon for opening and closing the charging port (if electric). Without updating, it doesn't appear...

Are you sure about this?
Tons of people had the update and not a single one can see through their bonnet.

2024-2025, Surround View incl. Active Parking Support, ~1.100eur
2026, Park Assist including 3D Surround View and Porsche Entry, ~2.800eur
Ok so only 2026 Macans will get:
- trained parking
- reverse assist
- transparent front view
as 3d view was not available for 2024-2025 models
But we already know that these features will come to the 2026 models as they are listed in the spec.
I don't understand what you are saying? I assume 2026 models already come with the "update" = WSJ0 (VR28.13) version
Who is going to receive these advanced functions as you say other than 2026 models who were to receive them anyway (listed in the spec).
Lots of people with 2024-2025 Surround View reported no additional functions to the camera after the WSJ0.
Please clarify.

I don't think the "3D surround view" was available as an option to any of MY24/MY25 models. This function lately became available only for MY26 models according to the configurator. Therefore how a MY24/MY25 car not being able to have the option will be upgraded thanks to the update?

I'm afraid you're right; the surround view isn't 3D... In my mind, I probably liked the idea of receiving that kind of upgrade too! Strict but fair.

NO!
The Battery gets warm when you discharge / drive. It gets especially hot when you charge fast. And also when you drive fast. Thats why for fast charging the battery has to be (pre)cooled and cooled during charging.

I don't have to convince you...if I set a fast charging station as my destination and my battery is cold, I can travel slowly or quickly, the battery is heated to reach the optimal temperature,...if I remove the destination, my battery doesn't heat up as much as before and obviously the available range is greater...
