ordered Sunday October 26th - delivered Tuesday oct. 28th…

can't wait to try it out - you don't. get the Porsche Logo or the nice Porsche carry case…but it's a hefty unit and feels substantial…and of course it's lacking the "porsche" logo on the side…which will probably reduce the charge rate by 82% :CWL:

I'd rather have it when I need it vs. waiting for it…it's less than a tank of gas for my Cayenne TurboS eHybrid.

I received our adapter from Porsche today (order placed 9/9). Looks like things are rolling.

I today too received one of two adapters due to me. Responded to the emails in late September, and so about two months waiting.

I appreciate Porsche sending these at no cost, but I did note one thing. Several months ago I bought one: same brand and nearly the same model. The model I bought has a way to lock the adapter to the Tesla cable and also lock the adapter to the charge port. So unattended, a locked adapter can’t be removed by someone else. The Porsche model has no way to lock the device on either end. It is a low probability, but I’m sure there will be some of these stolen over time, or charging vehicles unplugged. The best decision would be to provide for locking on at least one end to prevent theft.

correct me if I'm wrong - but when it's plugged into the car it's "locked" to the vehicle - and you have to be able to release the charging session by pressing the button on the chargeport - if you're away from the vehicle and it's plugged in - unless the vehicle is unlocked - the adapter is "locked to the car" - and can not be removed until the vehicle unlocked with the FOB…

so I don't think it's a big risk, or even possible for someone to steal the adapter - but I could be wrong…
