Problem with SIRI

Assuming that European and American cars have the same voice control, I would like to know if you experience the same 2 errors as me:
1. when entering a text message or trying to make a call, the icon for SIRI pops up BUT nothing further happens
2. voice guide in navigation is silent when apple carplay is activated

Sometimes it seems like Siri does not say her "uhum" wake up call but it still takes the command. I assumed it is just some lag because the prompt is such a short verbal notification it skips over it. So in my case it seems like nothing is happening but it actually does happen. I have not seen your point 2. If you have a route planned out in carplay then siri is active always for me. Maybe check your settings once you have a route planned out to see if voice activation is on?

Did you ever find solution to this Siri issue? I'm having the same problem, Siri doesn't hear anything. I have iPhone 14Pro with latest iOS connected to CarPlay.
