Problem with the air conditioner and battery cooling

At delivery my MacanEV AC was not working. When I dropped it off for service I was told that it required a replacement part. That part is not in stock and it will take 2-3 weeks to get. I told them to give me the car until the part comes in but they said they can’t because it also serves to cool the battery and Porsche will not allow me to drive it.
In the age of overnight delivery this (2-3 weeks)seems absurd.
Problem is that I have several trips to take and instead of being able to use the Electrify America charger credits I will have to pay for the gas. I’ve already spent over $100 and will probably have to spend another $2-400.
What should I say or do about this?

Did you get your car back?

I received the car on November 21. All is well. I took it on a 600 mile round trip from Nj to VA. And it worked perfectly. The dealer knew I had the trip and worked overtime to ensure that I had it back.

Got my Macan turbo 2 weeks ago. Hadn’t needed to turn on the AC until today only to realize it doesn’t work. No cool air coming out. It also switches to off when I push the selector to AC automatically after 1-2 seconds. Hoping it’s not associated to battery cooling. Pretty disappointed to be having this big of an issue this early on in ownership. I got out of Rivian due to poor reliability and wanted to go for a reputable and reliable brand.. First time Porsche buyer, so far not the best experience. Service appointment is a few weeks out, which I guess I will waive frustration since the major holidays are coming up.

I have some other issues, door alignment and interior door creak on closing and opening door that I want them to check out at the visit.
