i don’t believe you add the VIN to Porsche app yourself. I do know my VIN but I’ve asked my SA to add it on the Porsche system. He just did today, it’s super simple at their end. Within a minute, their system generated an email message to me with a link: click on the link and it brings the new Macan into the app. So I have my current GTS and the upcoming 4S both in the app. Screenshots attached.

Has anyone received an end of production photo? Within TYD my car is on way to UK but can’t seem to find any thread confirming any end of line photos? Perhaps this still isn’t available on Macan EV. I know there’s rules around Porsche not being able to upload if workers are in the background but would’ve thought someone would’ve got one if available!?

Remote services cannot be activated until one logs into the car directly and links their account - so no risk there.

ok... but when you activate the remote services via the app, you're basically turning on the SIM for the car right?
when i was on with Porsche NA Customer service, the guy suggested not to turn that on till i take possession, cuz once the car is added to the app, you're immediately prompted to start the services.

Reread my message above: you cannot activate remote services (location, mileage, unlocking the doors, etc) on the app.

It must be activated in the PCM, from inside the car.

Try it!

You don’t even need your SA. You can do it yourself, I did it as did others here.

Oh i meant the SA adding it on their end per @meerec post. I have already tried adding VIN myself to the MyPorsche App and I'm still waiting for Porsche to confirm.

call the customer service number. they can push it through immediately. you'll be waiting for who know how long otherwise.

Ok i will give it a try. PCNA did respond via email with the standard "Macan EV is not part of TYD currently"

To be clear - doesn't mean you'll get access to Track Your Dream.
But at least you'll be able to see your car in the app.

must be a different culture in Canada or you do not have a good working relationship with your sales team at the dealership … my dealer is very helpful, maybe because the dealership is owned by Porsche Australia, not an independent dealership. They are really looking after me, good guys.

Correct … as per my screenshots, you get to see your new Macan EV in the app, and the image is very closely resembling your spec, down to the colour of the seatbelts - looks really nice. TYD is not available to Macan. I track the whereabouts of the ship that will carry mine over to Sydney using other tools … like tracking shipping boats, and marine traffic.
