I find it's really hard to accurately photograph Provence. Depending on the light it can be anything from pastel (see my profile photo) to a seemingly dark smoky purple in low light. Personally I love it, but I can see why it might not be everyone's preference. The blackberry/black interior also seems to vary from dark smoke to bright aubergine depending on the daylight. Now that is taking me a little while to get used to! If I had seen it in real life before my car went to build, I doubt I would have ordered it and instead gone for plain black. The swatch in the dealership looked rather different to how it does on a full interior.

My wife and I had the opposite experience, that we did not like Province on pictures nor in videos until we recently saw it on a Taycan at a dealership. We did not even know what color it was until the BA told us. I wondered if it was a PTS color. Both immediately thought and then shared, ”that looks great!” But we have yet to see the blackberry in person…

You are right that it is hard to capture Provence in a picture.

My wife liked it after seeing it in person and on a Taycan first in direct sunlight and then again indoors. Very grayish and pastel outdoors. Photos for sure doesn’t do it justice. She’s a purple fan and Taycan’s Purple Sky Metallic was a tad too dark. Provence fit the bill and definitely different from the other colors out there depending on the lighting.

We did the whole purple experience: Provence exterior / Blackberry interior. Like all of you, we were very nervous until we saw one in person. And, like all of you, we have found purple / lavender/ gray impossible to photograph. We’ve lived with it for 7 weeks now and love it. It’s not for everyone, but that’s why Porsche gives us options.

We have one on order with Provence, blackberry (neodyne accent with summerwood trim) and the same wheels as you.

Glad to hear you like it, as we did not see it in person either. Any other pictures of the car and interior would be welcomed .

Congrats on your car, it looks great in the picture!

I haven’t locked in yet but how is your range with those? I currently still have the 21 Macan style but looking for a bit more flare.

We live in coastal California (mild climate) so maybe our range wouldn’t be achievable by others, but we have averaged 3.2 miles per kWh since we got the car. Very happy with this. Varied driving conditions too (city, highway, mountain roads).

I read on a European site that these 22’s are more efficient than the 21’s, but who knows? We optioned them because of the efficiency numbers (and also because they look cool).

One more thing, we live on a steep hill in SF and hills have historically not been great for EV range. But the regeneration seems very, very good, so we haven’t witnessed the range problem.
