Seeking Advice on My Porsche Macan 2025 Configuration

Hey Everyone,

I’ve just finalized the configuration for my 2025 Porsche Macan and would love to hear your thoughts! This is my first time configuring a Porsche, and I want to make sure I’ve made the right choices in terms of performance, comfort, and resale value.

Here’s what I’ve selected:

Exterior & Interior:
• Exterior color: Black
• Interior: Standard black
• Gloss black model designation

Comfort & Convenience:
• Comfort seats with 14-way electric adjustment
• Panoramic roof
• LED courtesy lights with Porsche logo on doors
• Adaptive cruise control
• Privacy glass

Performance & Handling:
• Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
• Sport Chrono Package
• Power Steering Plus
• Monostable gear selector

Wheels & Brakes:
• 20-inch Macan S wheels

Lighting & Visibility:
• LED Matrix headlights

Extras:
• Sealant and electric air compressor for tires
• Steel suspension

Is there anything crucial that I might have missed?
Are there any must-have options that would significantly enhance my experience?

I have base Macan too, and It's wonderful to drive. So, go for it. Apart from colour choice, my config is more or less the same.
Except, I have augmented reality HUD, and Air suspension instead of Steel suspension, but some reviewers say Steel suspension is pretty good too. You may as well test drive with and without before you decide.
What is Monostable gear selector? Perhaps just your country specific description.

By the way, LED courtesy lights without the Porsche logo on doors you still get as standard anyway.
But if you want to save a bit, you can get LED courtesy lights with Porsche logo on doors from AliExpress as well, much cheaper. Easy to replace as some have had it here.

If you’re going for gloss black on the model designation then you probably also want to do the same for the “electric” designation on the sides unless you deleted them or plan on removing them later.

Also in North America we get air suspension as standard which is fantastic for ride comfort and convenience.

Air Suspension is fantastic. I don’t think you can lower and raise the car to balance for off-roading or maximum aerodynamic efficiency without it. Also I barely notice such things as road plates and potholes.

@marcodf81: are you getting sports chrono for sports plus, do you like the chrono, or both? It’s interesting that you would have all the driving modes, but none of the suspension modes.

Sports Chrono (SC) is not a requirement for Launch Control - all cars have it as standard and is available when in Sport Drive Mode.

PASM (active suspension management) is available separately ( "Normal", "SPORT", and "Offroad" ). Sport Plus PASM setting requires SC. Air suspension includes PASM.

I was vaguely aware of Launch Control being available in Sport Mode, but haven’t tried it Thanks for clarifying about PASM. Air Suspension related features are standard on US cars so it required no thought on my part.

I like the chrono because it fills the dashboard well and is included in a promotion for which you have to have all these accessories. In Italy, the Sport Chrono package includes:

Sport Chrono Package
- Analog and digital stopwatch
- Sport Plus mode with performance-oriented chassis tuning, Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) and battery temperature control
- Integrated Sport Chrono panel with lap time recording and telemetry data, including the ability to add your own tracks and analyze sectors and laps
- PSM Sport mode

In Europe, air suspension are not standard (+2720,60€).

I chose (budget reasons ):
Steel spring suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
Electronically controlled active suspension system with a choice of four manually selectable modes: "Normal", "SPORT", "SPORT PLUS (depending on equipment)" and "Offroad".
