Tesla will get slaughtered in Europe when 25% is added. There is a perfect storm for them now - Musk lecturing Europe about ‘freedom of speech’ and intentionally making a Nazi salute, then the increased costs against multiple Chinese cheap EV’s and now loads of European EV’s. They don’t have the advantage the Superchargers network gives them in the US so no real advantage to buy a Tesla.
I watched an interesting YouTube where a UK dealer said he would never have a Tesla on his site again. He said one of the problems with them (Musk aside) is that they don’t have real options to differentiate cars. So, if there is a Tesla for sale down the road for £ 500 less the buyer goes there and finds the same internal and external ‘colors’ and this drives the selling price down. I have to say, if I was in the market for a decent used car the first thing I would look at would be the ‘must have’ options.
