I noticed this too on my 2 week old Turbo. At a stand still, windshield washers fluid overshoots to only the upper part of the glass and above it. They are aimed too high. However, at high speeds the washers seem to get the job done. Almost as if Porsche only intended the Macan's windshield washers to be used at high speed! lol

My Taycan and 992 were aimed perfectly from the factory and works well at a standstill as well as at high speed.

Has anyone actually been successful with adjusting the aim of the nozzles themselves using a needle? I'm afraid to try for fear of breaking it.
I used a screw driver to adjust them. Not all the nozzles were co-operating though.

I have never though to wash my windscreen at high speed

you know that any mechanic, not only a porsche specialist, in fact anyone can adjust the windscreen jets?
Thanks Petzi. I was noting my observation of my vehicle.

Did not know that. Thanks a lot!
yeah there is what they call a TI (Technical Information?) bulletin out recently and it should take them 2 hours +/- to adjust it flush. Mine was sticking out forward and aft and this is the result. I am assuming your flap is manual. I have not heard of any electrically operated flaps having this issue.

who told you „there is not much we can do?“ esp. as you say „i will have to call porsche about it.“
however it is a good idea to talk to porsche. the door of your car is not properly aligned and porsche has to fix it or compensate you. i am amazed how many people complain here about porsche but never have been at a pc with their problems. i do not know about the us market but in europe porsche gives full warranty and they fully come through.
Service adviser and head tech at Porsche South Bay in Southern California told me they’d have to “ship it back to Porsche” to fix it (and wouldn’t do that because according to them it’s within spec) which sounded outrageous. But again, I’ll be contacting Porsche. I’ve had a number of other issues that have put my turbo out of commission at the service center for 1 month of ownership.

what a bs! do they „ship back“ cars after a minor crash?

Wow...shipping the car back to Germany seems like a pretty extreme corrective action path.

Just wanted to add that electric operated ones have similar issues as well. Will be taking it up with the dealer this week.

Looked just like mine. Maybe the flap has the same plastic cover inside with the adjustment screws as the manual door. I guess you will find out.

No issues at all with my '25 Turbo, love it. But I guess one is easy to please after driving a Tesla X. "do not accelerate too fast or it will damage the suspension". the difference in quality is simply shocking. And yes, the X is more efficient, but I did not buy a Turbo to get an efficient car... And to be honest, at higher speeds the Turbo seems more efficient than the X (160 to 170 km/h)

I took delivery on my 4 last week and other than a non-flush flap (which they’ll take care of next week) and some confusion, mostly mine, regarding driver profiles, everything is perfect. I’m still in the honeymoon phase, obviously, but so far I’m completely and utterly enamored with it. I may ask it to marry me.
