Unreliable door unlocking

I have set my Macan 4 to have only the drivers door unlocked with key fob press.
It should be a second press to unlock all doors.

Can anyone else tell me if this works for them?

If I press to unlock drivers door I have to often press another 5 or 6 times to unlock the other doors. It sure if I have to wait a few seconds before pressing second time. There doesn’t seem to be any visual or audible sign they doors unlocked so I press-try-press-try-press-try. Really frustrating.

Every other car I have had just works if you press twice.

Anyone who has set this access up please let me know how it works for you. Thanks

Actually, I have had a very similar issue intermittently, but I’m set to unlock all doors.

My drivers door is very unpredictable- it sometimes is fine when operating but at other times the first pull retracts. No comfort opening.

what i've noticed is that here is no audio/visual queue...but if you pull on the handles, the door will open...
I have mine set to unlock all doors...But if I'm in the car, and someone is approaching, i hit the unlock button, and you don't hear anything...but the person can still open the door. it's electronic..

It’s not the signal. The door will not open in my case at least. All the doors EXCEPT the drivers will unlock, but the drivers stays locked.
sometimes if you walk far enough away from the car and the reapproach it will unlock, but short of that, hitting lock/unlock in the remote does not unlock the drivers door.
It’s very rare, but it happened again today as luck would have it. I had to enter through the passenger door.

Oooh yeah. That happened to me twice in the first 1-2 months... Not since though. They're are some other threads on here about that

This has never happened In over 6,000 miles so far with our 2024 early Turbo.

Our only issue is seating my wife (walks with a cane) and walking around to driver's side and setting off the alarm because I walked too far from the Macan.

Consider leaving the key with your wife after sitting her and then walking around to the driver’s seat. Just don’t forget to take the key. Or turn off comfort mode.

Agree. She has learned to ask for the key. And we have learned to unlock the Macan with the phone app if we do not have the key or if the key is locked in the car inside an RFID pouch.

You can unlock the Macan with the phone app with no key nearby. Luckily, it will not start, but it is useful to unload or load the SUV.
