I had one-pedal driving in the previous BMW i4 but was never fond of it, as I found I was constantly changing from B mode to D mode and vice versa to suit driving conditions to get max regen.
Whereas, in Macan, it's all natural, as you get all the regen with the brake. Just using your foot for acceleration and braking is far more desirable without using your hand to keep shifting constantly between B and D modes.
Porsche keeps getting criticism on many issues, but credit to Porsche here for sticking with this natural driving function despite demand from many users and reviewers.

Hving the "B" option does not require you to use it. I generally keep recuperation off. But there are certain types of driving conditions where I would like the option to use a "B" mode. My wife's XC60 T8 has a "D" mode and a "B" mode. When in the "D" mode it behaves like the Porsche with recuperation. You can also turn "creep" on and off. Choice is good.

I guess some owners see no signifiant benefits to OTA, or to any updates. Let me ask a more targeted question. Is everyone happy that after 20 months on the road, Porsche has still not released a non-faulty bug-fix update? Again, let us remember, Porsche originally listed OTA updates as a marketed feature (I have no idea if they still do list that.).

Purchased in September 2025, 52k km done and love it. Tried other brand / model but can not find something that I like more (Tested the Cayenne but it's too big for my needs). Planned to test Lotus Elettre X next week but, again, I think it's too big

The Lotus Eletre is even larger than the Cayenne, 32cm longer and 8cm wider.
Same here, Macan is lovely and big enough for our needs. Any bigger and I get nervous on a lot of the narrow UK/European streets.
@byebye is still looking for a replacement for his unlucky Macan. Hasn't found one ;)
