My Macan 4 got caught halfway in the factory holiday closing. It entered manufacturing on Dec. 18 and was scheduled to complete on Dec. 23. I guess it didn't make it since now the manufacturing process is showing complete on Jan. 10. What a bummer!

Looks amazing!, congrats again, can’t wait for more impression on the 4S and its comparisons to the other trims. Enjoy the process of getting to know the new ride, I know that’s always a special time for me. I have already a box of accessories from suncoast in anticipation waiting for the arrival of our car.

I just heard today, that mine is postponed again. 3-4 times already, now new date is January 17th, but don’t believe them anymore. the SA is not giving feedback, unless i mail or call myself. Not that good feeling anymore as in behginning. My other 2 dealers, have never done this to me.
what know? I wait until Monday for feedback of their importer. Let’s hope, but i believe the factory is closed now? Until when?

My 4S is at the dealership. Hold was just for the headlight settings, as expected. No biggie.

May have it Tuesday, def. by next weekend. I was told they have significantly smoothed out the required pre delivery checklist and it's gone from 7-10 days to 3-4.

that checks out. mine made it to the lot on 24th and i picked up on the 27

My 4S timeline -- held at port for a couple weeks (assuming cause of headlight recall), was ready for pickup the day after it finally arrived at dealer

the dealership model has got to go... so many upsells and shady tactics. really complicated the pickup process and made everything way longer than it had to be.

my SA refused to give me the final cash price (cause he was trying to steer me towards getting a lease), but then also made it difficult to compare different leases. he would only give me one quote at a time after significant delay, super annoying.

they wouldn't give me a quote for my trade-in until the day of pickup (i think cause it's easier to get me to accept a bad offer when i just want to finish the delivery and leave with my car), so i was expecting to get shafted on the offer, and yup... they gave me an offer that was lower than every single website i checked.

the financing dude tried to scam me with the threat of a 7500 clawback if i bought out my lease too early (debunked here). and also droned on and on about warranties and maintenance packages... wasted like an hour of my life.

Yea the finance lady when i bought mine tried to sell me the wheel and tire protection package almost as soon as i sat down!

Congrats, @krissrock — I picked up mine one day before you and agree about the rapid acceleration.

Unfortunately, I had to return mine to the dealership two days later to address Assistance Systems error messages. I’ll post pictures after the repairs are complete but here’s a recent post if you want my initial thoughts about the 4S:

My car was originally supposed to be built in January after Christmas but it somehow got done on the 23rd of December. (Yay!)

On the SA front, SA made me put down a non refundable deposit for my Macan 4 which I did but have not really discussed financing, leasing or cash options for the car. Is it too late to lease at this stage? I originally was intending to buy but having a bit of second thoughts now. (I’m in Canada btw so don’t have the $7500 tax credit to consider)

you don't decide those things till take delivery of the car...so yes, you can choose to lease still. Your deposit will be put toward your lease
