En fait votre concessionnaire avait une allocation libre du coup en deux mois le véhicule peut arriver. Moi j’ai commandé le miens le 2 décembre il va être livré vers le 15 février. Idem un 4s

You guys got lucky. Mine was built 19 Dec and has been sitting at the port in Germany for the last 7 weeks!! Dealer assures me nothing is wrong with the car and blames the MUA strike at the ports over Dec/Jan for the now 4 to 6 week delay in delivery. Apparently the strike has caused chaos to roro shipping schedules to Aus

Yes I heard about this from my dealer too. Ours came on the very first production and shipment to Australia.

My 4S went into production on 3rd Feb so the waiting game now begins… estimated to be ready for me by 10th March at dealer….hopefully a bit more time to settle some of theses software niggles.

Looking at the shipping leaving Emden for the UK, recently it seems VW are ramping up deliveries for UK cars - perhaps there have been a load of orders for March reg cars.

My car went into production on the 22nd Jan and is now on its way to the dealers. When my Order was frozen on the 4th Jan the dealer said it would probably be with them mid Feb and this has never changed.

If you are interested, when the App tells you the car has left production you can look at departures from Emden and track the ‘vehicle carriers’ to the UK.

I think we must be very similar. Mine left production 29th Jan then got a notification on the 4th to say it had left the port.
Not had any further notification to say it had arrived in UK although I did see a ship arrive on the 6th into sheerness. Not sure if you’ve had any further update from the app?

I think the date the car ‘arrived at the local port’ is not when the ship docks but when the car clears customs and is ready to be on a transporter, which is probably why you haven’t received a notification yet. I’m pretty sure my car was at the port for 2 days before I rec’d the notification it had ‘arrived’.

Mine ‘left the port’ on the 4th and ‘arrived’ on the 7th and the App is saying at the dealer between the 8th and 19th Feb - dealer expecting it around the 13th. The spread in dates is presumably organising and waiting until a transporter is available and full for delivery.

Are you going to get your car when it is ready or wait until 1st March ?

Did your car go into sheerness I’m guessing as that’s the same timeline expected for me?
it left the port on the 4th and was expecting to arrive on the 7th. It’s currently showing 10th-19th expected at the dealer.
Track my dream has showed my car on the water since the 4th ha, think mine must be coming on a rowing boat!
I’m going to collect once it arrives as I’ll be putting on a private plate anyway.

It does seem that way. Let’s hope for the best!
Keep me posted on yours! I just spoke to the dealer and all the can see currently is ‘in transit’.

Ah man, for those of you with Macans on Future Way, it may be awhile. After a good start the ship was delayed a couple days by weather and now is caught in a traffic jam at Davisville.... it is parked off shore waiting for the vehicle carrier dock to clear, perhaps Tuesday.

My final delivery status update: Delivered!

From ordering in August with a lock in October, spending 5 weeks or so on the boat and another 2 to get to Seattle and prepped, we now have a 4S in our garage.

I’m using a work EV scheme to lease my 4S so unfortunately no ‘Track my Dream’ for me but the helpful guy at the Porsche Dealer says it is due to complete build on 12th February and expects delivery mid March-early April. Does that sound right? How does the number plate situation work? What are my chances of a 25 plate?
