Has anyone else experienced the wiper blade hitting the a-pillar when operating, and causing a tap-tap-tap noise every time the blades clear the windscreen?

Mine has been doing it for a while, but we had a downpour today and the wipers went into overdrive and it sounded like someone was playing a bass drum solo.

Drove in the down power today and not noticed.

Adding to this, the macan drove really well in the rain, unfortunately saw a M4 in my rear view mirror fish tail it, spun across the motorway from the outer lane into the hard shoulder, thankfully they didn't hit anyone but think the grass/barrier stopped him so car damage only.
Glad I went 4S.

Yes got this exact problem, it’s very annoying. I was due to have it looked at by OPC but fell ill so couldn’t make the appointment.

Yes, I got Macan 4 loaner, with the blades hitting the B pilar, I went back next day to the dealer and they repositioned the blades “manually removed and re-positioned “ and problem solved. In the beginning they thought it was a software issue, but no is just a mechanical work of 5 minutes.

You can probably DIY. Just loosen the bolt that holds it in place, remove and reposition the wiper.

What else is on your snag list?
Mainly the ongoing passenger window issues but also...
- this one
- ill fitting charging cover on drivers's side
- faulty steering wheel column adjuster
... and there's a couple of weeks before it's booked-in, so will be on the lookout for others niggles.
