I'm considering chalk interior but concerned about colour transfer from jeans. My Merino X5 had this but the dye came off, whereas my current iX3, the colour won't come fully off.I was dead sure there was a topic for this but couldn't find it... so here goes.
I've finally firmed up my configuration. Lock day is just a few weeks away but I'm done tinkering with the specs.

Will still try to get the "Model Designation on Rear and "electric" Logo on Side" removed, don't have the option to in the US configurator but exists in other countries (option code 0NA).
Kept the options to a slim $6.3k, half of that for performance related items.

I plan to order a 4S in Volcano Grey as well. I was going back and forth between the side blades in the standard gray plastic vs high gloss black vs painted in exterior color. Ultimately I decided to play it safe and go with side blades in matching exterior color but did change the window trim from silver to high glass black.I confugured my 4S with Volcano Grey Metallic in exterior color and:
Exterior Mirrors Painted in High Gloss Black
Window Trim in High Gloss Black
Door Handles in High Gloss Black
Side Blades in High Gloss Black
I think the contrast will be good, but now I'm thinking maybe not ....
Been hearing horror stories about light colors too… may go with black/turbonite in the end.
