Winter wheels and tyres - 20" - https://www.suncoastparts.com/produ...-5BnH438ntr1BYMnpVjCWo-tOX-j2mngg3Acf0n0ypK-d

Main difference between the GTS and Turbo (or 4S or below) in terms of suspension is the lower ride height (by 10 mm) - the rest is invariably Porsche marketing hype but only a test drive will confirm...

Further to this I just called Suncoast and navigated to the GTSEV section and there are no 20 inch wheels there. after speaking with the rep he said that is what is approved by Porsche

Thanks for the info however, I don’t think that those 20 inch wheels will fit on the GTS when I asked the dealership about it. They said 20 inch wheels will not fit, but they did not really explain why. I may look into it further but so far, I’ve not got confirmation from the dealer on if that’s possible.

Often, the reason that the smaller wheels are not compatible with faster the models in a range is due to the latter having larger brakes, hence there is insufficient clearance for the caliper with a smaller wheel.

In the UK market, the 4S has 375 x 36mm ventilated discs at the front whereas the GTS is equipped with discs that measure 400 x 38mm. Therefore, the 1" larger discs mean that the calipers sit further away from the hub, which therefore probably explains the non-compatibility with the 20" wheel.

This is a picture of the 22" rim on the GTS. Sadly, it's not a very good angle but it doesn't look like there is much clearance!

Porsche Tequipment site lists 7 21" and 22" options (UK) for winter.

Brakes and calipers are the same on the GTS and Turbo.

I do not think you can get 20” wheels for a GTS at least in Canada. I was told that is because the GTS does not support that size. I would be curious if other countries have 20” as an option as that would raise new questions for me about what I was told. In any case this is an SUV with a normal setting and I am going to trust that the 22” spyder rims will be fine. If anyone already has a or will soon get a GTS with 22” rims I would love to hear your feedback. My freeze date is still a ways off so I could always scale down to 21” if I wanted to.In fact anyone with a Turbo driving on 22” in sport mode can comment as well as I don’t think the sport tuned suspension in the GTS in normal will be that much different than a turbo in sport mode.. but I guess we will soon see
The ride height on the GTS is only different in normal mode.

The ride height in the other modes is the same.

Yep, also noticed that only 21" wheels are available for the GTS.
There is a dedicated Porsche website in Belgium: https://www.porsche-winter.be/

It is possible to order the standard painted 21" wheels BTW:

Says "on-demand price" => means expensive I guess.

I quite like the Macan Turbo wheels as well - "reasonable" option would be to select these and swap summer/winter tires. I usually keep 2 sets of wheels but that's an option, and the cheapest one.

I have booked an appointment to order the car next week Friday (Friday 13th ;-)) - gives me some time to finalize the config. I have asked to test drive a Macan with air suspension and 22" wheels.

Thanks for all the input on my config - lots of useful points and definitely food for thought.

Having those painted may be interesting. Let us know how your 22” test drive goes

I have checked with suncoast. If you navigate to the suncoast GTS section there are no 20" options available. I called them and they said if it is not in that section then they does sell them for that trim. The GTS section on the Suncoast site matches the Porsche configurator options. Also, since the first GTS is 2026 the red highlighted statement still applies (i.e. no 20" options for GTS trim).

Yes that's correct. I thought that when I posted the link to the specific GTS options (21 & 22 only) clarified that.

Apologies if not.
