That explains it @daveo4EV - my car is still in transit to the port in the US so I guess the sticker isn’t available yet.
I had gotten to the same screen as you but no option to get the sticker. No biggie, just a few more days!
from painful experience of many many Porsche orders - it's not port arrival that allows the sticker, it's once it's released from the Port that the window sticker shows up (the vehicle can not be put on a truck/train until this sticker is provided for the vehicle)…it's a small backdoor "window" into Porsche logistics and a more precise indicator of vehicle shipping status than TYD - once my window sticker was "on" the website for my last Porsche - it was at my local dealer 2 days later, and only 3 days after the "date" at the top of the downloaded pdf…

based on my experience this is one of the last "steps" in the delivery process - your Porsche is "on it's way" normally with minimal delays once you can download the sticker - until then it's stuck in an information black hole…

@tmrqs, you mentioned that our vehicles will be on the same ship. Do you have any order status information on the My Porsche app? My VIN was added by my SA yesterday but no order info appears on the app.

I was supposed to be on the next ship (I imagine same as you) but turns out the Amethyst Ace left the port in Germany a few days late and my car was loaded on it.

My SA confirmed the name of the ship and that’s how I know, been tracking it since.

Ask your SA if he knows the name of the ship for your car, that should give you more insights.

Okay, I’ll check with my SA if I made it on that ship as well. Are you getting any order status information on the My Porsche app?

this worked - and it appears the charging service "activated" and all ready - it will expire on Oct. 15, 2025 (after things settle I'll call Porsche customer service and get them to add the extra month back since I can't get the car until Nov. 15th)

so the "raw" URL still works and my charging service is "active" has all the right bits/bobs and a credit card associated…

so cross the fingers - and we'll see

interesting if you use the "back" button the web page you will eventually get to the following splash screen…they really really don't want you using hte webportal any more…

It’s complicated with two Porsche EVs - we still have our 2020 Taycan TS with the 2022 AC charger / Plug & Charge upgrade and you can only select one car at a time (our iPhones are tied to the same email). And it is not clear to me that it successfully switches. We go from flawless P&C to nearly impossible charging. Two vastly different charging certificates may be the issue (Taycan requires payment, >4 years old).

Our trip across America has been delayed in North Carolina for a week - it is clear the turbo is doing OTA updates setting in the garage. It may fix itself by our 16 NOV departure for Oregon.

it might be easier if your wife had her own porsche ID - that's how I do it in our household - once she has her own ID you can "invite" her PorscheID to be a "secondary user" - and then she can use her own login and porsche app to access both "her car" and your car via being a secondary user.

in my household it works as follows:
  • 2021 Cayenne TurboS eHybird - Wife is primary "user" - I'm secondary user
  • 2022 911 TurboS Cab - Wife is primary - I'm 2nd
  • 2023 911 GT3 - I'm primary - wife doesn't care (lol)
  • 2024 Macan EV - I'll be primary - I've already invited my wife's Porsche ID to be secondary user - will complete the setup when I have access to the vehicle next week.
I'd be surprised if it didn't work better when you have two separate ID's - but also unsurprised if it still doesn't work - but you could setup completely separate ID's to make all this work but then you need to switch between them…

good luck!

it's the small things one experiences while traveling - no big deal cause I was checking out anyways - but 9:30 am knock on my door - hotel engineering - I'm being asked to vacate my room because of water leaking into the bedroom area - apparently someone on the 5th floor felt like sharing water from their room all the way down to the other floors (I was on the 3rd floor) - so now I'm chilling in the lobby until it's time for my pick up

this is not a crisis - but like I said the small events that define one's trip!

:p

An adventure has to have a strange start otherwise it will not be an "adventure" and can not finish in an amazing triumph ;)
