Extended Leather Rear Seat Issue - wrinkled / stretched

I have extended leather in a three week old car with very occasional rear seat use. I noticed the leather was stretched in the rear driver’s side seat. Is this normal/acceptible?
Should I be requesting a replacement under warranty?

Seems mostly normal and you could probably get it detailed out. The leather will definitely change a bit as the car is heated and cooled with use.

Is this the bottom rear seat cushion? EDIT: I cannot tell by the orientation of the picture.
You said it is the back, sorry about that. This is definitely not right and should be handled under warranty as leather seat covers are replaceable.

I had similar experience with bottom cushions:
Rear Seat cushions are known to develop this with the previous generation Cayennes that were released in 2019. We bought a 2020 Cayenne and this issue developed quickly and we reported it under warranty as unacceptable. Our rear bottom leather covers were replaced under warranty and while the issue did not go away completely, it got much better.

It’s the back of the right rear passenger seat. Used twice in three weeks. My Porsche dealer tells me it’s normal.

Rear Seat cushions are known to develop this with the previous generation Cayennes that were released in 2019. We bought a 2020 Cayenne and this issue developed quickly and we reported it under warranty as unacceptable. Our rear bottom leather covers were replaced under warranty and while the issue did not go away completely, it got much better.

From the position of the seatbelt, I’m pretty sure it’s the backrest cushion.

i complained and the dealership agrees there should be fixed under warranty but I am still waiting to hear what is the answer from Porsche

Not normal at all in my view. I would get them replaced under warranty.

Could you please confirm when you get the warranty claim agreed. I will then go back to my dealer to sort it out.

I would say is 'normal' and typical across the range. Glad that it is being replaced but don't be surprised if the replacement ends up similar after a while.

something like this is really not a leather issue, it's the padding underneath that's not pushing on the leather...maybe they didn't put in enough...or maybe its not as durable as it should be...

No it is definitely a leather issue - my car has something similar and I agreed with the dealership they need to replace the leather (however I have not bothered to arrange it yet...)
