Received my 4S this week!

Finally it was my turn to receive Macan 4S, after 5 months waiting!

After few days I'm really happy with the car, it's really fun to drive and I keep finding new features every time. I was a bit worried about seat adjustments, but after few hours I was able to find comfortable setup. Also, was positively surprised by charging speed in cold weather, as long as you preheat the battery up to +30C. Only disappoinment was that my last minute changes to specs didn't go through, so I didn't get compass display but a plastic ventilation cover that looks cheap...

Porsche has so many “you cannot get this option with that one” rules that cost them net money because they are the “self-appointed fashion police.”

Couple of examples applying to just my 2026 desired order; now multiply the money lost on just my one order by the number of customers who also would pay more for more options if Porsche gave them full color option choices.

1) Cost them $1,410 e.g., no off-road package with my choice turbo for I would have to give up the gross wheel arches — that latter I won’t do, nor importantly to me will I give up the turbo.

2) Cost them $1,210 because they insist that if I choose the yellow stitching, I cannot have these color seat inserts (about ten of them excluded), e.g., still planing to instead gave up my desired seat insert option to get my yellow stitching.

A smarter alternative is to do what Corvette does is to allow the customer to get what they are willing to pay for — not just resulting in choosing more options (again more net profit), but in Corvette’s case if you want “x” color seats with the “y” color interior, you get to add both of those options IF you willing to pay $690 for their thus, required, “Color Override” o.

Porsche you lose not just $2,620 on my order because of your color-choosing for-us arrogance, but an additional missing from my order $690 on top because you took away my ability for my chosen options to0, e.g., $3,310 total lost.

Or be even smarter and institute the “color override” option Corvette (that also many of the rest of GM models allow) but raise its price to $990 and make a further $300, for I want the options I want AND would be willing to pay for now now-prohibited combinations.

I agree….current trend is to just black out all trim, but this combo looks nice

Yes, it was because I decided to change my order from 4 to 4S and my SA didn't have allocation slots for 4S back then.... but it was worth the wait.

Yes, I think silver trim makes an elegant contrast with aventurine green, especially when combined with crayon seats. I didn't want privacy glass, but opted for insulated glass instead.

Gorgeous! I have a very similar build (I went with the truffle brown leather). Hopefully mine will be arriving on schedule next month . . . I've seen very few aventurine green 4S's w/ the silver window trim, and I agree it looks great!

I have similar external and internal colour specs and hope they will look great too. Was a little worried as it is hard to make up how aventurine green looks like in person. Congrats to your nice config and enjoy.

It will look great. As you can see in the photos, the color looks a bit different depending on lighting conditions. Off road design will add some rugged feeling to the exterior.

Are these 20in wheels? I ordered the 20in Man Design wheels, primarily because of the terrible road surfaces here.

These are 20" wheels. In some pictures they look a bit small, but in real life I think they look ok. I have Michelin tires, and the ride is quiet and comfortabl.e.

I agree. 20" look far better in real.
In fact, to me, bigger ones look somewhat outsized to the size of Macan. My personal opinion, of course.
