Does anyone else have this problem? Already on at least 10 occasions, the front hood (the frunk?) just suddenly opens when I enter the car or when I leave the car! I’m NOT pressing the button on my key or on the driver door that opens it. And I fear it will happen some day while I’m driving. Is that even possible?

I love my Macan 4 EV, but think this car has a lot of software glitches. Maybe it needed some more tests before the release? I’ve had all sorts of crazy error messages go off on the dashboard like I’ve read in this forum. That has improved greatly since I brought in the car and had it recalibrated.

Are you sure nothing is pressing the button on the fob? There's so little of a ridge around it that it's really easy for other items (or other keys) in the pocket to press against it when getting in and out (it's happened to me 3 times in the time I've had the car). It's one of my biggest gripes about the car, and I really wish it required holding the button for a few seconds instead of a simple press/release.

i've come in to my garage to find the frunk open once ever. I just assumed it was hit in my pocket. But also, the hood cannot be opened while driving, or even when in drive while stopped. it must be put in park IIRC

I don‘t understand why it does not require double clicking to open the hood. This would solve most of the pocket-activated issues.
Just copy the good features from Tesla!

Good call, I have this for passenger door so should be very easy to implement.

Could be worse. When I got to my car yesterday, all the windows were down. In addition, the sunroof was slightly ajar. This combination is not possible with a key that makes contact. That was not the case, the key was in a safe place. I have also had the problem with the windows twice with my Taycan, but I am not spared from this with the Macan either... Fortunately I have a driveway and no rain, but how is this possible?!?

On my Mercedes you could do this via app to ventilate car. Quite helpful in summer. Not sure if this functionality exists on Porsche (don't have comfort access, functionality not available on my App). Mercedes has rain sensor and will close all windows and roof in case of rain. I assume Porsche does as well but not tested.

Nope, not an option in a Porsche. Just the possibility to open and close the windows with the key, by pressing the opening button for several seconds.

Closing with a rain sensor? I should have bought a Mercedes Benz, like Janis Joplin already sung long ago…

It is not possible to open front/back hoods from within the vehicle unless the car is in (P)ark.

The fact these events are linked with entry I'd look for less sophisticated causes, such as pressing the remote.
