It appears the US configurator is now using the 2027 models. Interesting, I had a Porsche code from 2026 that was "converted" to 2027 model year, and the Drive Assist (GJ7) option has gone missing. Maybe standard feature now for 2027?

Porsche Drive Assist (GJ7)
* By using high-resolution GPS, radar, and front cameras, the system "looks" up to 1.8 miles (3 km) ahead. It proactively adjusts acceleration, deceleration, and cornering speeds for upcoming curves, gradients, roundabouts, and speed limits.
* Active Lane Guidance: Instead of just bouncing you off lane markers, the car gently and continuously steers to keep you centered in your lane.
* Traffic Jam Assist: Provides automated steering and speed control (including complete stops and "Stop-And-Go") at lower speeds.
* Automated Lane Changes: Depending on the exact Porsche model and local regulations, the system can autonomously initiate a lane change when you tap the turn signal and the sensors confirm the neighboring lane is clear.

Drive Assist is missing as an option and not part of Standard Equipment.

Typical of configurator turn over from year to year where they get the price increase right every time but other options they roll it out then figure it out.

Let's wait a few days to see if it reappears.

Probably stuck on someone's desk in Finance to see how much more they can charge for it.

Which model? In some cases they only allow certain options to be configured on higher spec vehicles.

Surely that must be a mistake in the configurator - it’s in the UK one. It can’t be a regulatory issue as it’s offered on the Cayenne EV. That said, it’s not available on the ICE in the US configurator or any of the Macan EV’s even the Turbo

One possible explanation may be parts are not available (yet) to offer the option. There is a shortage of semiconductor chips due to the AI buildout, and this could have an effect. Or the chips are available but too expensive.

Yes, it is standard now which I think is the right move as that functionality is standard on most other EV’s

The functionality is there in the standard equipment section. the detailed description in the standard section nowincludes the functionality that was part of the driver assist option at least in the GTS trim. I didn’t check the standard descriptions in the other trims.

They true outlier is Tesla who doesn't offer a comparable driving assistance feature anymore. You either pay for Full Self Driving or you get nothing.

Please clip the evidence as I do not see it on the US configurator, speaking of 2027.
Drive Assist (used to be InnoDrive) is a different option from standard ACC.
Also, if that would be the case the base price would go up at least by $1k USD but it did not.

This is what we are looking for in the Standard Equipment section of the 2027 models, that is now missing as an option under Assistance Systems section of the option list.

"Drive Assist is Porsche’s advanced assisted‑driving suite for the 2026 Macan Electric. It keeps the car centered in its lane, maintains distance to traffic, adapts speed based on navigation data and traffic signs, and can perform automated lane changes when the driver signals. It’s essentially Porsche’s most capable Level‑2 driver assistance system to date. "

I don't see the features in the 2027 Macan GTS EV standard equipment section (Std. Equip > Assist. Sys.). Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

Here is the functionality from 2026:

Porsche Drive Assist (GJ7)

GJ7 is still showing up in the Germany configurator for the 2027 MY on the Turbo. I have a 2026 on order and when my config is updated to 2027 it brought the option forward unchanged.

Very odd for the North American configurator - no Drive Assist (GJ7). I just now checked the 2027 Turbo and the GJ7 is not available as an option (or in standard equipment).

Similar to your situation, I have a 2026 Macan 4 EV on order (delivery November). When the 2026 Porsche Code was "converted" to the 2027 model - no GJ7 option. I assume my 2026 model will physically deliver with the option, but I don't know.

yeah, I just checked the Canadian configure again you are right those specific items as described are missing. . I didn’t screenshot the one before but it is definitely different but I still don’t see any of the items under the option section (removed). I inquired more and my search told me that the features are not permanently dead, but they may have been pulled from some configurators if they hit any major software bottleneck hardware supply shortage, or regulatory delay.. it looks like Porsche has temporarily frozen the software for new factory orders for some reason. I’m picking my 2026 GTS up tomorrow and I’m going to ask the SA what is going on and I will let you know what I find out.

Well, my 2026 GTS that I’m picking up tomorrow better have GJ7 because I paid for it😳
