I really liked Ruby Copper colour and now it has gone to be replaced by another grey.

First I got super excited when I read your words, then FUNNY, for I looked at the even more bla color repeats than what we have now.

Of course for + $13,620 more we have more choices…

so, in other words, not much new in the updated online configurator that's worth talking about, with regard to the Macan EV...
I'd like to see the following options that you can get in other Porsches but not here:
(1) infrared "night-vision assist" camera; (2) dual front sun visors for both front seats; (3) all-metal roof; (4) steel suspension instead of air suspension; (5) option for 19-inch wheels for better range; (6) spare wheel (the frunk would be a great place for this). Kudos to Porsche for keeping the charge-port door manual (standard), rather than forcing electronic doors like they have done on the second-gen Taycan.

Air is an option on every model but the turbo the UK (well, for now. Don’t know what MY26 changes are coming). Having driven both, I’m firmly in the mechanical suspension camp. It was way more engaging than air. Air did have its advantages, but I wouldn’t choose it. Air also made me feel quite queasy in normal mode.

Could they be pushing people to more expensive colours? We're about to buy a Macan and the colour choice without breaking the bank is pretty woeful.

I would lie if I'd say it didn't crossed my mind too!I tend to believe that with the Macan they tried to offer something like a "base" built with almost only the essentials for someone who just wants to get a "simple" SUV Porsche EV at a considerably low-for-a-Porsche price and at the same time they offer miriads of other options which should they be selected will brink the final cost very close to where other Porsche models are or at least closer to the other Porsche's EV,the Taycan.I think that most likely the colours choice falls also into the same situation.Criticized or not it's another story but from the company's POV and as a marketing movement most likely it's an - at least - smart move for the model to be addressed to more people and ger as more prospective buyers as possible.
...So,the answer to the main question is most likely yes IMO,exactly the same as they do with every other option the model offers through the configurator.

Well, they are running a business after all! Our last car was off the forecourt, so we had no choice at all. At least we will have some choice this time,

Provence or a Blue looks likely for us.

Edit: And on the subject of extras, hp and trims. Yes, this will be near other Porsche prices when complete!

I doubt the Remote Park Assist will become available to Macan any time soon, unfortunately! If they intended to offer it at least for MY'26, it should be already included in the new configurators around the globe.However the only configurator including it is this one above but if you examine the URL closely it doesn't belong to any country specifically but rather it shows "WW" which means "WorldWide".The US one shows "US",the Canada "CA",the Japan "JP",the Greek "GR" and so on.Now I don't know why such a configurator even exists or what's its purpose but it also lacks any prices so most likely it isn't something absolutely valid concerning things like this.
Maybe it indeed becomes available sometime during 2026 but definitely not simultaneously with MY2026 car introduction.
I wish it was different but I'm afraid it isn't in this case, unfortunately!

Further to the park assist convo:
There is another material difference between the options - PX6 from the 2025 model was just "Surround view" whereas PX7 for 2026 is now "3D Surround view" bundled with the additional trained parking & reverse assist, now it's just like a VW!

I can't think why any of the extra functions including the 3D would result in a hardware difference and could come eventually in a PCM update?

Small sidenote: As we know, Porsche has 100% 1st party control over the PCM software. Whereas all other module's software on the car (driver display, HUD, HVAC, door locks, sunroof etc) are 3rd party and costly/time consuming to implement, so they would only ever touch those if they absolutely had to for safety reasons.​

As a developer it would streamline the PCM update to just push the same software for 24/25/26... and not distinguish between <2025 & 2026>on.

$13,620 is too step for most Macan buyers — with many other model buyers also using that amount of money for performance and other options. BMW will give you same special complete vehicle paint for $5,000. I know we deal with “Porsche pricing” on everything, but net/net would they make more money if they reduced the price for PTS to $8,000 or so?

I've got the Frozen Blue,it was my second best,my first one was Papaya (another one bold colour) which was withdrawn just when my ordered was placed.
