New options added to the configurator

Going through the configurator tonight, noticed they’ve added a new section under “Interior options”: “Interior accessories and child seats”.

Nothing too crazy, but convenient if you need to get a cold seat too.

Following the announcement of the RWD and 4S trims, I spot checked the US configurator for the Turbo Macan and noticed:

• Slate Neo Grey has been added as new color option (Legends tier)
• Paint to Sample is also available now, all the fancy colors shown in France can be ordered
• Summer Tires can be ordered for all sizes (20"/21"/22") and 22" Performance Summer tires are also available for an extra
• Roof rails are now available in Turbonite
• The color of the Electric logo on the side can be changed to High Gloss black without changing the model designation in the back... but strangely, still cannot removed these logos at all
• The Sport Sound option increased from $490 to $500
• Still no sign of the weather mats available in Europe
• A number of options have been moved around - some are odd

There may be more, still checking!

note to EV rookies - summer tires are more grippy - more rolling resistance - and hence less range….

summer tires turned my 2020 Taycan Turbo from a 260-270 mile range EV into a 190-210 mile range EV - when the summer tires were “done” - I switched am back to all seasons - range restored to 250-265 miles

i value the extra range vs the extra grip at the limits since my EVs are not track cars

similar experience with other EVs since 2011 - tires matter a lot for range

Same, I was ready to get the yellow color (really love it on the Macan) but at $13k, not an option at all for my wallet!

Two new options found so far: 1) Painted air vents and 2) for solid interior colors, and having the console surround now be in leather in 14 different colors.

YMMV literally…

My experience did not match this, FWIW.

I have used Pilot Sport 4 summer tires, Pirelli Scorpion Winter tires, and the OEM all season Contis. I do a 150 mile one way drive 4x a week year round. 5k+ miles on the Scorpion (in summer, don't ask) and the Contis. 15k+ on Pilot Sport 4 summer. No notable range drop from any of the tires, all within 5-10 miles of each other. Was easily getting 260-280 mile range at slower highway speeds on the Pilot Sport 4s (ie.. avg of 65-72 mph).

Biggest range drop was going up to 21" Turbo S wheels w/ all season, which dropped me about 15-20% range.

If your range dropped that much something else was going on.

This option seems to be missing from the new variants added and does not appear in the standard list...at least on the Canadian config that used to be under assistance section. Still there under the M4 config...strange.

CORRECTION- you mean Slate Neo GREY

Just realized a couple more changes with the latest updates:
- The Rear Axle Steering is now $10 less expensive (guess that offset the $10 increase on Sport Sound)
- The Delivery, Processing and Handling Fees are now $350 more expensive

Overall, MY25 sees close to no price increase which is pretty nice.
