Can anyone help guide on this? I have a narrow garage entrance and carefully and slowly enter and exit the garage. During this process, my turbo regularly engages the Hold function, resulting in a jerky and annoying process. Any setting/ adjustments or suggestions are much appreciated.
Thank you.

The hold function only comes on if the brake pressed very far down... And you have to be at a complete stop already...so I'm not sure how this is happening to you.
I too have to enter my garage slowly, alarms going off over and over... But I've never had it hold on me
Afaik, there's no options/settings for hold

It feels like a lurching jerking brake

Are you sure it’s not the safety feature that puts on the brake randomly when reversing? Think other members have mentioned it in other threads and my SA had advised me to turn off

Many cars have warning and auto braking features under the park assist menu item where you fine tune the alarms and response, like turn auto braking off..

I don't think you can silence them completely now days.

My previous car, a BMW Z4, had this automatic parking brake function. When the car got too close to the wall when parking, the emergency brake would intervene to prevent a collision. I don't think the Macan has this function.

Thank you.
On the Taycan you can adjust the roll detection to be early, late or somewhere in between - this is the adjustment for Hold and when adjusted addresses your issue.

Search PCM for the setting - somewhere within Vehicle or Assitance (Warn Brake Assist)

That's not quite correct as it features also as part of roll detection and engages if roll is detected .
