Has the car for a month. 1400 miles travelled and can’t get more than 2.8 miles / kWh.
usually it sits at around 2.6 (I’m using the display to show miles/kwh since last charge so it should only show the data from each charge).
I’m driving in comfort, mainly around town and never above 70mph.

seems pretty low as I’ve seen YouTube reviewers saying they average between 3.1 and 3.5.

Remember you are UK based and ambient temps aren't yet where they need to be.

3.5 is a fairytale IMHO - Florida / California maybe.

I suspect you aren't far off what you can expect - IRO 3.0

Wheel / rim size will also be a factor - 22" will be the worst.

I am in a 4s with 22” wheels 2.5 miles kWh over the winter and 8000 miles

FWIW, according to the French configurator site, the Macan EV Turbo gets slightly more range than the Macan EV GTS. All else being equal, WLTP based, the Macan Turbo gets 590 KM and the GTS gets 585.

Turn off regen and see that number climb by 0.2-0.3 in my experience

Yeah that sounds more like it.

My Taycans were similar - 4S 20" aero rims 3.0 over 20K miles and GTS ST 21" Spyders 2.9 over 18K miles.

Winter was around 2.3 and short journeys (winter 4 miles) 1.8.

Efficiency so far is not a Porsche EV strength.

I routinely get 2.9-3.2 miles/kWh in my 2024 Turbo Macan EV

I would suggest wheel size and summer/performance tires are the core reason you're seeing that level of efficiency with the GTS - while the performance level of those stock tires on a GTS are certainly sexy and impressive they are vastly overrated for 99.9% of any likely street driving - so unless you're routinely tracking your GTS or auto-crossing it and care about shaving 0.1th's in various measured performance metrics - some all season less grippy tires will most likely provide improved efficiency - rolling resistance and it's impact on range is a thing…

my Taycan lost range with summer performance tires which was entirely restored when I switched back to all seasons…

That’s good to hear that it’s not unusual.
TBF, it still gives me enough range for our regular 200 mile round trips.

Is that not because of the ‘standard’ wheel choice for each trim? If they were like for like, the GTS would have marginal more efficiency, even with that lip spoiler?

Good question, so I went back to the French configurator site and put the identical 21” wheels on ech and then looked it up. With those same wheels, the Turbo’s range is listed 567 km and the GTS gets 556, e.g., an even wider margin for greater Turbo range efficiency.

Trnaslating to EPS using the standard converatio on from km to miles and the correction of 1.22 I always use because everyone agrees that the WLTP is too optimistic, the different ranges would be 280 for the Maan EV Turbo and 283 miles for the Macan EV GTs..

So it is not the wheels but the GTS’s rear deck lip spoiler, the front fascia being different, and the rear diffuser being more aggressively shaped.

'24 Macan Turbo on 22" wheels running approx 42 psi. Approx 1000 miles per month. Predominantly sedate suburban / rural journeys with occasional "blasts."

Feb / Mar was 3.0 m/kWh . I do see efficiency decays at 60 mph and above

I'm on the south coast so perhaps slightly higher avg temps and I've been surprised by the range boost in April with some warmer weather so might be 3.2+

Might there be an element of bedding in with the motors / running gear?

Congrats on your new car!

Turn off regen. I’m averaging around 2.7-2.9 I would say.

2.7-2.9 over winter and 3.3-3.6 over summer - mostly longer trips of 30 miles plus on 50mph roads or motorways.

Short journeys around town are far lower though - 2.1 when I nipped out yesterday for a 4 mile errand. I think the problem with the short journeys is that they contain lots of junctions, traffic lights and roundabouts which provide far too many opportunities to test the limits of grip.

Clearly you are having fun with yours, exactly as your GTS is intended.

Query was on GTS consumption and not the other variants.
