Finally… The Driving Assistance System faults are now resolved after the last map database update to version 0015_Euro.
I collected my car this morning.

Great news. Is the the map update only available via the dealership? I assume this is a quick update they can do whilst I wait? Did you go to West London Porsche?

You should all hear from your dealership. Mine just sent through details of how to clear the cache from the "Driver Assistance Map Service" to speed up the OTA update (otherwise cache clear happens automatically every 24-48 hours). Its
all to do with a software bug in the regional country coding of the predictive map data. Will let you know if / when my update happens and if the issues are resolved.
Thanks for the advice. It's seems to have done the trick! No more error messages.

We had to have the car re-programed at the dealer. After two times it worked and have not had any more issues
fingers crossed

otherwise all is good

Mine back from dealer. Little over month. Rise worked to get in garage. They said no problems on 180 mile drive to deliver. He used adaptive cruise. Paperwork showed lots of warranty items in German. They said blind spot warning problem was in mirrors not where on previous cars.
left Omaha with 91% charge, 180 miles driven, arrived with 47 miles left. mostly Highway 70 mph.

Update. Mine going back to dealer Monday. Now won’t charge at charging stations, just home. Lots of warnings, new ones but now didn’t charge at two pay stations. Horrible cold range, 30 degrees f and 20-30 mph wind. Charged to 95% at home 300 miles, first60 miles took 40%, went home and took to 80% which said 240m. Then after 80 miles I dint have enough to get home. went To charge location app directed to in rural mo. Charge kiosk. Started then car sent warning messages and stopped, car did, not charge stations. Then wouldn’t unplug. Fought with and got free and went to another station about 50 miles away had used before. About ten minutes in, car aborts charge. Kiosk then says car stopped charge. Again can’t get cord to release, red light inside door. Ten minutes of fighting and call to Porsche roadside and got it free. Says Don’t have enough range to get home. Tow truck 90 min away, at soonest. Decided to go toward kc so tow truck more available. Turned everything off, drafted a semi driving slow, made home with 8% left. Charged ok on home charger.
I am beyond pissed. I can tolerate the weird crash warnings, but stranding me at night, in rural mo, in cold is about last straw. I have to run to rural areas at all hours and weather for work.
interestingly after first charge abort it went into a new idrive mode showing all cars around me.
i also wonder if all my problems are due to it not always knowing where it is. Lift location fails occasionally. Does the charge process require a location in handshake?

Open your map then go into the options/settings of the map, scroll down and you will find the map database version. It has been lately updated to version 0016_Eur
