Carbon Fiber wrap - inside the cabin

So I posted a thread on how I covered an unpainted set of side blades with a carbon fiber wrap. I liked it so much that i had parts of the interior done and thought I would share the result. Note that the front second screen area is covered because I do not have the passenger display screen (to state the obvious). I covered the standard black door and dash trims with the carbon fiber. Looks better in person but you get the idea.

The PPF template for the Macan EV that detailers use has outlines for most interior areas so they can put clear protective film on the surfaces. in this case he used the same template to create the necessary pieces in carbon fibre wrap

It is actually PPF with ceramic embedded layer suitable for exterior paint protection. Not vinyl. Really hard to tell it apart from actual CF

well I got the idea from Maserati and Lamborghini and others that have it so had one that matched the exterior foil somewhat (Porsche would not give me the font type) and it seems to spice up the otherwise plainer looking panel (maybe). So no the passenger does not need it but did comment that it looks less like a mirror. Anyway I will try it for a while and remove it if I get sick of it, right now I am liking it.

The more I look the more it annoys me but if you like it why not! I’m very much for OEM - no bling no vanity plates etc.

lol ok but Porsche has a lot of OEM “bling”. The style edition of the 718 is an example which I think is a bit over the top but there for folks that want it. Anyway it’s all good and why I love all the customization and options you can play with on a Porsche.

That’s why I’d never buy 718 Bling edition. Nice standard Turbo S 992

Nice ride! OEM has something for everyone..except I do wish they would include chalk as an option for the Macan EV
