Finding the vehicle software version

Can someone please tell me how to find the car’s current software version(s) in the PCM? I think I’ve clicked through just about every “gear” menu that’s relevant but no bueno. Maybe this should be a sticky?

Here’s mine, post VR28.13 - the latest for 2024-2025 cars

This is only the PCM version, each installed app has its own version, and the main controllers in the car have versions not visible in the PCM screen

You can’t, there are multiple software versions of many comoonents and only the dealer can check it. Campaigns like WSJ0 actually provides dufferent updates to different components.

There are only 2 versions of Macan software (old & new)
Depending on RHD/LHD check top right or top left corner of screen:
4G -> old
5G -> new

This is also wrong, as I've always had 5G displayed with both the original and the updated software - as have many, but not all. Bad data is worse than no data here, so the messenger is certainly to blame for this.

I have yet to see a version number from 2026 models. There may be 3 versions out there - original 2024-2025, WSJ0 updated 2024-2025, and possibly the 2026 version. I'd love to see what those cars shipped with.
