Update on my install, phase 1 complete. Bose sub out. Factory speakers out. Focal speakers, including 10” Utopia sub Installed.
Still have the Bose amp powering interior multi channel. MoBridge guys working on a solution for this new amp, so we can replace with Mosconi multichannel with DSP for better power and tuning.
Sound with stock Bose amp and improved speakers is significantly better. Sub with sub control knob under the climate control panel for easy adjustment when needed.
Sub is held in place with Velcro and quick release connectors. If I need more truck space for larger item haul, it comes out in 1 min.
Very happy with the result, but looking forward to phase 2, to complete the install.
Big thanks to Raymond and team at California Car Sounds in Campbell for the great work on all my previous stereo upgrades, and executed this one beautifully.
