Lowest suspension setting?

Hi All,

I didn't spec the sport chrono pack to get the sport+ setting.
I've noticed when I set the dial to sport the suspension is only at the low setting and not the lowest.
When would you set the air suspension to the lowest setting - track only?

Pretty much all the time, except when I'm getting home - I need a little more clearance for my driveway.

Ok I do the exact same thing, especially with snow accumulation making the angle to my sloped driveway even sharper.

Is the lowest setting the best to minimize wear on the air suspension? Every time that I mention to car people that I have the air suspension, their first reaction is how much my wallet will be massacred when it's time to replace components. I figured the lowest level is also best for aerodynamics too.

As per taycanstuff’s post three above, is this a detriment for ordering the compass/atimeter performance package instead of the Sport Chrono option, that losing Sports Plus means the loss of the lowest suspension capability?

Further might that option choice be an inadvertant reason for lower than desired range for some?

Whenever I want to see the compass, I just update the 3rd screen behind the wheel to display it.
And a lower position should improve aerodynamics and range (as marginal as the improvement might be).

yeah, i keep mine on lowest height all the time... and sport shock settings.

You can also configure the car to raise automatically when approaching a specified location.

Car > Drive > Level

Sport plus mode is included in the adaptive air suspension....and I opted for the compass in my build. I have the sport chrono in my 2018 S...and never use it. So...figured i don't need it on the 4S.

Sport+ in PASM isn't the same as Sport+ from the Sports Chrono package.

Without sport chrono option I still have the lowest suspension capability, only issue is you need to go into settings to choose lowest suspension rather then having the sportplus knob that does it all.

you can set/configure the lowest ride height for any of the drive modes and it will save, except normal....

I have a USA car which has adaptive air suspension and 22" sport wheels, and I typically drive around town in sport mode versus sport plus only because the car seems to be a little too bouncy on my roads in sport plus. But sport plus on most highways. The car is still managing 2.9 miles / kWh and I do nothing to conserve energy. The HVAC is on, the seat ventilation and heaters are on, the car is charging phones, there is a mini fridge in the car, etc.

Maybe I will try to set the normal mode to "low" and then the standard sport to "lowest" when I want to challenge those twisties, because I don't have sportplus.
Just need to dive into settings to see how this can be saved.
