I have owned multiple Porsches including a 2007 911 C4S Cabriolet, a 2017 Macan S, and now this Macan 4S EV. Once I got over the initial glitches (the usual -- the Plug&Charge was greyed out hence a complete reset, my CarPlay goes in and out, the charger was set to charge at 50% and finding the right instructions to change it to 100% was NOT in the manual), I have found the car to be a total blast to drive! It's so natural on the road and the steering is much tighter than my old Macan even in NORMAL mode. The car is quiet (got the noise insulated glass). The air suspension is fantastic even on CRAPPY Westchester NY roads! If I put my foot down on the accelerator, the thing LAUNCHES like a rocket -- even my 911 didn't quite match it. The thing is rock solid at all speeds. It just gives me a real feeling of confidence even at over 90 MPH. If you can afford it (a big IF), I'd recommend this car to anyone .. especially if they get the software glitches out.. but remember when Tesla first started? I have a friend who was an early adopter -- boy was that a mess. At least this one drives like a REAL car and not a computer on wheels with an all crappy, ugly screen interface and noisy, crappy construction. Yes, I wish the camera's were better.. Yes, I wish they gave you the option of one pedal driving -- I'd like to try that out. Am I missing it? No way! Not the way this thing drives. Regen works by the way... it engages when I take my foot off the accelerator (gas- HA HA!). I'd like the ability to adjust it (stronger, weaker) but that's it!
