I was told yesterday, by the Dealer, that no deliveries will be made until Sept. Has anyone else been told this. I also saw a note on the Rennlist Forum saying the same thing.

Yeah we usually get new models before Aus - less compliance here (most of it legacy stuff in Australia attempting to protect local production).

I put an order a couple of weeks ago at the dealership for this beauty. It should arrive July-August. Pondering whether to keep the Taycan until then. For me the Macan ticks the boxes left unchecked with the Taycan. That said, the Taycan has been a blast since I had it.

Put my deposit down last week on a build dealer put together, in May i'm told two new vairants are released - the 4S and a RWD base model. I'll opt for the 4S as will have best residuals and reasonable options.. don't plan to be the first to get one as i'll wait for the snagging to be sorted!

A good comparison is with Taycan CT4 to CT4S. £5k? difference. I might go for it but not just because it’s faster. If you got Air Sus, Auto Dim and Matrix lights chucked in I might flip. Doubt it though.

Would also consider 2WD but would have to be £5k cheaper AT LEAST and not lose ANY kit.

think rwd will be about £3k cheaper

I think the 4S will be the one that holds any EV value the best would have air suspension as standard i expect and leather seats.

If Taycan is anything to go by then all you get upgrading to 4S is better lights!
If it comes with more than that - ?Air Sus and stuff it will be +++++++++ more £s

My 4S had air suspension as standard compared to the 4. Yes it was more but was worth the extra and you had better choice of wheels.

CT4 did have air sus and access to the nicer CT wheels
I had a 4S saloon but only because 2WD and CT wasn't available at the time
I would have had 2WD and added Air Sus. It was only £1000 on Taycan 1
I begrudge it being 2k on the Mac 4.
I am too tight and don't 'need' it as its high enough to avoid speed bumps.

Ironic that you can get a Taycan with £6000 hydraulic suspension that lifts it up for entry
to guess what? Yes! The height of a Macan!
And you still have to limbo round the B pillar!
Just get the Macan!
I think it was WINGE who said he thought the Macan prices were a 'typo' at first
So much cheaper than the Taycan l - Never mind Taycan II

I just cant turn down the same 'amount' of Porsche for SO MUCH less.
Even if it is less pretty, less 'Porsche' and slower round the Nurburgring.
